FX Impact M3 magnets

Hi all,

I'm new to the forum and starting off with an odd question.

Can anyone tell me if the factory Impact M3 has any magnets in its build, especially the rear butt/block section?... Or the magazine?

I need to stay clear of magnets for medical reasons, hence the weird question.

Considering buying an M3.

I know some aftermarket bits do, but interested in the factory build.

To my knowledge there are not magnets that I know of in the M3 at all. But, wait for others to chime in as it is a medical question.

No magnets and if you have a pace maker they aren't going to affect you. I use hoops with quite a few super magnets, had a cardiologist tell me that the warnings were a joke, nothing to worry about a distance away, as in normal use. You probably get more magnetism in your car.

Yes a pacemaker, thanks for the reassurance!

I often wonder about the slight recoil too but I know it's as low as it's gets! And I shoot from the non-pacemaker shoulder obviously.

I do not have this rifle, but I understand that you are surrounded by more magnets than on a rifle

, although due to its small size

the manufacturers use very powerful magnets.

No magnets on the M3 as long as you stay with factory Fx magazines. Some after market magazines use magnets to hold the cover together.

Thanks Jack for confirming about the M3 itself, and yes I've seen that on some mags, like the eagle vision ones.
