rare because they were EXPENSIVE NEW and they were made for what a year as stated in the Blue Book but it say they made it in .20 and i bet that is a Unicorn

I believe D Slade the .177 is the least common... Rare has nothing to do with the price, it's how many were made.

well rare or not or how many were made the cost made them out of reach for most

My .177 and one in .20 went for a bit more than 1/2 of the low price you mentioned! My other in .22 after a fresh D Slade tune went for far below 1/2 of your mention "today price". Not sure why this has become a price issue though, just showing a "new addition".
