Tuning Problem with my RAW HM1000X .22

My HM1000X .22 developed a leak. I took it out of the stock and checked what I could. It was slightly leaking around the bottle and vblock. Replaced the bottle oring then replaced the vblock oring next to the bottle and it appeared that leak was fixed. Took it to the range filled it to 220 BAR. This is what it's doing now, it's tuned to shoot at 935fps. Shot it the next day, another shooter suggested may be the regulator had to settle in and shoot it some more rounds, starting at 220BAR and it still isn't shooting right but also I still have a leak somewhere. Any ideas of what's going on?

Reg rebuild likely needed .... Common leak is the o-rings on spool venting out the small hole on regulators body. Also if the seat within reg is damaged, or the o-ring under the males side of seat is leaking your going to have set point drift.

Also the hammer in a RAW needs to be run DRY with no oils on it what so ever.

You can also get a huma regulator to for it they have made them alot smaller than the original raw to give you more plenum space I've also read that the raw regulators are really good to just alittle harder to adjust

Are they hard to rebuild. No RAW shooters where I live, so I'm on my own..unless I send it in to Air Force air guns or someone who knows how to do the work. I have looked for a reg.rebuilt or a oring replacement video or exploded view of the RAW and it's components and have had no luck.

Search THEOBEN RAPID regulator servicing as well .... Same basic configuration.

Best choice if you don't want to or can't fix yourself is sending it in to Martin and his crew at Airguns USA in TN.

Let's just say that they know how to do the work on RAW guns.

I suggest you send it to Martin, if you're not comfortable doing it yourself. IMO, the RAW reg is better than the Huma.

No...I registered but can't introduce myself, comment or post. It says Im not authorized to do so...I can take the regulator out and I bought the gauge set up from the UK to set regulator pressure. I just don't know what I will need to repair it or what it takes to work on the regulator. I remember back in the day, people were eager to mentor and share their knowledge to help others...seems to be quickly a thing of the past...like many other things. It will get sorted out one way or another.

You got to click the link threw your email they sent you and they will only let you into the introduction to post about yourself and then it will then be available for the rest of the forums I know I found how to set up the regulator s on there think it was in the technical and the rapid stuff is pretty much the same thing too

Yes Rapid Air has a video on how to adjust the regulator..but not one on how to rebuild one, and a video showing all the oring replacements would be good also which doesn't exist..as easy as it has become to do videos, I can't understand why someone who has the knowledge wouldn't make a video to help those other owners of RAWS who run into these issues.

I have my old raw regulator out in my spare parts since I switched to huma I could pull it apart and put up pictures for you if that would help the part you have to pay attention to is how the washers are stacked it will change the spring rate if you get them wrong

Nut spacer and washer stack from pre air force hm1000x 25 cal washer stack I have written down from nut spacer to the brass piece

Have to hold the center piece with a Allen wrench metric 3 mm to get the nut off my reg was set at 150 bar
