This Starling Really Messed Up My Yard

Seems like those lugs get great expansion. So how well do they work on larger game where you want penetration like raccoons or coyotes?

Finally got a night vision scope!

The focus closer to your eye is to focus on the display screen. The other one is to focus the image on the camera sensor. Do eye focus 1st so that the reticle is clear, then focus to get the image the clearest.

    N/A 💢 Talk me into KEEPING a .25cal PCP! — What does .25cal do that .22cal can't?

If you have a 22 that can shoot heavy slugs >25g at 900 fps or faster then you don't really need at 25 the 22 slugs will do almost everything a 25 can do. A 22 shooting <=18g pellets at 900 fps isn't a substitute for a 25 when you have raccoons to terminate. It would limit you to ideal shot...

Finally got a night vision scope!

The wraith mini is much lighter and can focus shorter than 25 yards but cost more. Anyone use both The Wraith Mini and the Zulus can give an opinion about the comparison of the video quality in the image quality in the eye piece?

    What got you started?

When I read this from the website that was the end of the F'ing raccoons. Got 25 caliber Marauder a red light LED and some jsb Kings. https://www.cdc.gov/healthywater/swimming/residential/animals/raccoons-and-pools.html What should I do if I find raccoon feces or a dead raccoon in my pool...

    Corbin vs Presslug

I was asking about the automated system. If that is only $900 with dies it a fantastic prices of the slugs are accurate.

    Joe Shneehagen accident

I have read he used surplus CF! Yes I know the property of CF not having almost no compressive strength. Like pushing on a string. However there can designs for using CF in such a way that external pressure puts some fibers in tension. However not an ideal use of the material. Using windows not...

    Explosive Pellets

IMO exploding pellets negate the main reason I use air guns. They are quiet and use can shoot discreetly and the ammo is inexpensive. Possibly greater target damage in exchange for more cost and noise, poorer ballistics and accuracy, seems like a bad tradeoff. If I'm willing to accept the noise...

    Joe Shneehagen accident

Properly designed steel tanks don't fatigue and can have a infinite lifespan properly cared for. I would trust them more than CF, but they are too heavy. Aluminum almost never has a infinite lifespan and will in enough cycles eventually fail. The key is to design aluminum tanks strong enough...

    AGT Vixen shooters

I have a 177. As said before the stock is poor. The standard is low power. I was surprised how loud a weak 177 was. I fixed that with a CF shroud with 3d printed LDC. Now super quiet as I should be. Also 3d printed another stock with bag rider.

Rat with ESP the 1st time, but not the 2nd time!

Rats are hard to shoot, they don't sit still long. This pressures me to take quick COM shots giving me a better chance of killing them if they suddenly move. During the 1st encounter the rat seemed to have ESP and jumped out of the way of the pellet just as I pulled the trigger. I estimate the...

BEST AIRGUN THERMAL Optic "Rattler" by AGM.

Some are better than others but this optic is cantilevered has a very short rail attachment with only one screw. I really doubt is is repeatable enough for hitting a coons brain at 80 yards.
