I've got a...couple (!)...of Caimans, and a Caiman X . So far...I've had no problems with any of them But I also have them shooting between 800fps. and about 810fps. I see no need in stressing the interior mechanics, if I don't need to. Just like the Europeans (UK etc.), they shoot just fine...

Hmm, seems the current, PCP world is is built off of the Foster design air inlet. The AP16 sure is. It's better to slow the air volume/pressure, before it gets to the guns cylinder. Just a thought. But if you aren't going to be making more, the point is moot anyway. I thought I understood...

Lee - WHY...WHY...? Replace the threaded end and machine the "Foster" fitting shape on the end of your probe !!!!!!!! That way, folks don't need to spend, MORE...money on crappy adapters (and seals) that have...a Foster...fitting shape machined onto...it.. Also, a smaller feed hole to help...

All but one of my airgun rifles are...compact, short. Even slightly longer ones get shortened if possible without too much trouble. Like my Pulsar below. I didn't shorten the barrel, just the shroud. Nice and short, FX, Mk3 Mike

Interesting... I just pulled out my Pulsars, neither have the same set screws !! I didn't remove the stock to see if they are hidden somewhere, but in any case, not visible like yours are. One of my guns is an older model, one is slightly newer with the different picatinny rail styles...

Normally, a bad pellet skirt will be "fixed" as it's pushed into the breach. Unless it's really...bad, then I just toss it into the waste can. And since I'm not shooting for money, a pellet that may fly badly, don't care. But, nice tool in any case, for those, 100%, 10 ring shooters. Mike
