Pumpers, pain and new age quackery

I hear you. My pumpers get pest only duty so they may see a couple of shots a day at most and that's usually not at full power. I usually go to bed a spry young man but i wake up like i've been in a car wreck. I don't know what happens at night. Not sure about the red light thing as i mostly...

Anyone take advantage of Airgun Depot sale?

Well you may have a collectors piece there. I don't get along with the fiber optics either, they wash out in any kind of light for me. I just take a sharpie or a little dab of black paint and put over them. Keep us in the loop on how she shoots.

    HW/Weihrauch HW underlever cleaning

I've made a slew of pull through cleaners mainly because i have a tendancy to lose them as quick as i can. I take heavy weedwhacker line and heat the end up with a lighter push it down to form a head on the end. Little smaller for the .177, little bigger for the .22 poke it through a patch and...

The Midwest Airgun show is only a week away!

Lord willing, i'm planning on being there. Going to be bringing a super nice winchester 333/diana 65 and possibly a couple of blue streaks and maybe a benji 397 or two. Not looking for much, maybe something in a hunting powered .22 springer, maybe some pellets, scope, oh man i'm gonna get in...

Tuning Who else enjoys breaking in their springers instead of tuning?

I buy the quality seals and springs. The rest of the tuning tricks i do myself and save a good bit of money. Being a former mechanic, i've had a lot of experience machining and rebuilt many a motor. The thing i lack now are the tools like a good lathe and machining tools to get to fancy. I just...

Diana Anybody buy from PA bday sale?....

No , but i'm glad you saw the 34 before i did or i would have made the wife mad again. I'll bet it's a keeper, i have to many .177s and am on the prowl for a .22. Let us know how it turns out.

    Diana Revived 34 .177

Nice, i'm a huge fan of the 34s. So easy to work on and never seem to be to pellet picky. Good shooting.

N/A Old Pumper New Guts and Look

Nice outfit for sure. I wish i would have gotten the scope mount grooves cut in mine like you did. At the time though i was sure i could use open sights forever. lol

What should i do for a finish?

I've got a green dyed diana that has held up great. The only thing i would change is , i like a satin finish so the face doesn't stick.

I totally scored on my Mystery Box!

Ha, my dad would've opened them all already.

    At the midwest airgun show?

I know at findlay when it was outside of town they had an outdoor tent for slingshots but i don't think they could shoot pellets. Just wondered about guys doing some trading and going by the honor system i guess.

    Gamo Never again

I once saw a gamo at an auction that said it was made in england. The fit and finish looked great but i didn't know they were made in the uk at one time. They had that and a fwb 124, the bid was choice and i went to 250$ and he won the bid and took the gamo? I did get the 124 but did i let a...

Diana It just followed me home i swear,

Is what i told my lovely bride. But i think i've used that line one to many times. A small town about 20 miles from my place had their community garage sales this weekend and wouldn't you know it. The fella had some older tins of cphp out on a table and i ask him what he used to launch them. He...

    Diana Diana 34 .177 --- What Have I got?

Nice pickup. They are one of the easiest to work on springers you can find. Imo, they are overpowered from the factory and can always benefit from a tune. They are usually dry on the inside unless someone has lubed it in the past. And most of them are not pellet picky. Good luck.
