I just checked both of mine the real effort is opening the bolt which is cocking the gun. Once open the only thing holding it open the only thing that holds it open is the friction of the parts.

Our club puts a stand at offhand and kneeling lanes to rest your gun on while ranging.

I always think its a good idea to have a single shot tray or loader much easier to be sure your gun is mt when moving around if you dont load till ready to shoot!

He probably won’t do 1 for you. Its very difficult to find someone that can do an airgun barrel and do it well especially for anything besides pellets
