The rifle is a RAW HM1000X I bought from Martin.

That's not what mine looks like! WTF is going on with these things? Did you get the chassis for the HM100X or did you get the one for the Crown??

There is no slot for a plug, just a solid bottom. So I have nothing to plug my gauge into to measure the regulator. I have an email out to Martin and awaiting his reply.

No nothing has been sent back to Martin. This is the original rifle I received. I am wondering if Martin gets different recievers or something. Does your rifle have that plug Emack?

I have been shooting the Knockouts in the 217 size quite accurately. I have a 1" popper that isn't to much of a challenge to smack at 100 yards, pop cans are quite easy as well. Working on installing a new regulator and tuning with the larger plenum to see what the rifle can do.

I just got it from Martin a few months ago. So it is a brand new build. I don't know if Martin is using a different receiver than what Air Force is using, but it would have been nice to have the plug so I can start documenting where things are set. I sent Martin an email asking him if there...

Ok I just got all my bits and parts....removed my rifle from its chassis.....AND NO BLANKING PLUG! DAMN IT!!!! Now I have to figure how to test my regulator set point! Now I need to find someone to open the threads of my Rapid regulator tester so I can actually test something. 🙃

The MK3 is a hell of a rifle! If you are ok being able to do a reseal on the rifle, and able to source a battery if needed, then go for it! They are really not all that hard to work on and are quite simple.

That's amazing that it looks like that awesome rifle!! Well it is that rifle so that may be why it looks like it does. 😆

Did some more shooting with the HM1000X at various ranges. Ended the session by shooting pop cans at 100 yards with a 15-20mph cross wind. And of course the kid shot as well.

I do the same, ALWAYS pay for goods and services. The little extra will be worth it if something happens.

It depends honestly. But if you are getting a bad feeling about it, then back out and don't send any money. I know I have offered to help a fellow shooter, who is a new member to the forums here. Try and find someone in the same area as the seller and see if they can take a look at the item...

Just again bought more things for the RAW HM1000X. A Huma regulator and digital gauge... then had to buy more slugs to test as well. This is getting stupid! But man is it fun!!

I just put in an order for a Huma regulator and tester to use to set the regulator. I was also talking with the guys over at Utah and bought a few more slugs to try. I really want to make sure that I can find the correct diameter slug before I break down and buy a Corbin press. Would HATE to...
