The one nice thing about dipping though is generally, if you mess up you can just re sand, re prime/paint and re dip. If anyone wants to try an entire stock though, I'd suggest dipping one side at a time. Doing the whole stock in one go is not for the faint of heart and it usually ends up buggered.

If the guns report is louder with slugs than with pellets I'd be curious as to what's going on speed wise. It sounds like you may be getting blow by on the slug similar to if it's not fully engaging the rifling.

The 362 should definitely dump all the air with 6 - 8 pumps. At 9 or more they seem to still hold some air on the next shot. Everyone's suggestion above is good. Try to shoot it a bit more and see if it holds more air on 8 pumps.

Airsoft I'd venture to say is certainly an airgun. The bb is expelled with either green gas or electric air compression. To answer the op's thread, I kill scorpions with an airsoft pistol using green gas that shoots around 300 fps. It works great, don't see why you can't on the grasshoppers.

This is definitely not it. I saw a add in the latest PA catalog and the gun looks like the standard bandit, with the rifle kit and pistol kit. Except the gun is a PCP not c02.

I have a .30 non tactical Cricket II Wsr, the tube version and my shroud came threaded for a 1/2 UNF fyi.

I have a cricket II smooth in .30, and honestly it's a rugged reliable platform. The only true deficiency is the magazine, where as it takes two hands to get it into the gun. The gun never changes poi, and it's the quietest .30 I own. It's not a tinker'ers rifle but a shooters rifle.
