Resources Be a better field target shooter in 15 minutes- Pellet Sorting with Greg Sauve

I'm new to pellet sorting so probably missed past discussions on this, but what percent variance in head diameter and weight do you consider acceptable?
Just speaking for myself...

I'll measure head size to the thousandth. For example, if my gauge is 4.54, I put all pellets with a smaller head size (4.53) in my practice pellet pile.
For weight, I separate pellets 13.3, 13.4, 13.5. (I'm shooting JSB 13.43 pellets). I'll shoot any of those at a match, but I do not mix them. Anything lighter than 13.3 or heavier than 13.5 I will put in my practice pellet pile.

Hope that helps!
