HW/Weihrauch Is the hw110 more quiet than the hw100

Depends on caliber and tune, more air more noise…! Moderated or not?

I dont see how anything could be much quieter then my HW100 .177, shooting 16ftlbs.
All you hear is mechanical noise and a pffft! Believe the HW110 has more plastic on it, the HW100 is built like a tank.

MY Crown is quiet with a sumo but the HW 100 might be quieter its a toss up but I think its the sound difference.

The HW100 .177 would be a great choice in my opinion.
I don’t have one but I do have a HW44 in .177 and it’s designed very similar to the rifle.
It’s incredibly accurate and very quiet too.
I think you would be very pleased with the HW100!

I don't know about HW100 loudness, as I have a HW110 FAC w/Weihrauch moderator, non-shrouded @30ft/lb
the loudest noises are the hammer hitting the valve and the pellet hitting a target that has a wood or metal backing

My 110 is possibly the quietest gun I own. Accurate too. For this reason, it’s my late night wet work gun for rats. I suspect both platforms are similar, but I can only vouch for the 110.

My HW100 22 cal shooting 21 fpe is loud even with a Fat Boy 2.0. I think I narrowed it down to a missing breech o-ring.

HW100 in .177, long/HP version with the included Weihrauch moderator. Came from AOA shooting way to hot. Tuned it down with reg and hammer spring to shoot 10.34's at 890 fps. Pretty loud for a .177 and used too much air when in the original configuration. After tuning down, it now it gets 84 shots(6 full 14 round mags) on a fill and absolutely stupid quiet. Pellets hitting targets are much louder the the report of the gun.
