If you get the 2240, or other crosman pistol, you will want to get a buckrail moderator to quiet it down. They are fairly cheap and work great.
Never shot an iguana, so don’t know it will have the power needed or not. Others will need to weigh in on that.

Great pick! Very customizable as well buck-rail.com sells an adapter for/also sells the moderator to quiet it down. A steel breech is also going to be an upgrade that you would love(lets you mount an optic). There's also different bolts, grips, etc. Very good choice

I read good things on this. Umarex Fusion. Supposed to be whisper quiet. If you can live with a Co2 rifle. It holds 3 standard Co2 cartridges and can also use the larger ones as well. Good luck with your search!

I have one of those and two 2240XL’s. If you plan on using a red dot and a moderator in the future I would go with a XL. The steel breach also makes it feel a little better when operating.
