Scope help (please help odyle)

I plan on buying a impact mk2 built solely for long range hunting with slugs. I had planned on buying a element titan to go with it but from reading thing odyle has wrote, and knowing just how much experience he has, i’ve decided I can probably get something better for around 800 dollars, so if anyone has any recommendations please let me know. 800 is probably the cap but i’d prefer if it were more around 600-650.

I liked the one for around 500 but it’s a 5-20x I believe and for long range I feel i’d want something that went to 24x at least.

Hope you never tried looking through an Alpha6 and never do. The 4.5-27x50 sure kicks butt for $229 shipped on EBay.

I have never looked through an alpha6 but if it is so nice should I consider buying one of those? The magnification for longe range appears to be there, or are the other options better for longe range?

Dana mentions on video towards the end that the Alpha6 performed better than $600 - $700 price point scopes he also tested.

It's the cheapest through EBay with free shipping.

You can choose to pay more money for it elsewhere or order direct from the company and pay almost double the price and pay full retail for it if you want.

Do they have a FFP version of it? I’d much prefer to get a FFP scope, also thanks for the help so far it is greatly appreciated.

NO they only have SFP. Your loss of you don't try one. You won't ever know how badly you been getting majorly ripped off from other scope companies over the years.

Buy the Hawke Frontier I mentioned then never ever dare to even look through an Alpha6 then you will be fine and content.

THAT Frontier is nicer than the Alpha6. But you pay a lot more so it's your money. Resale value won't be too good just so you know.

You can literally sell an Alpha6 instantly on the CLASSIFIEDS with VERY minimal loss if any.

Hmm is the crimson trace 5 series quite the upgrade from the hawke, really like the specs but the price tag is quite hefty for me. I plan on dialing quite a bit so the SFP of the alpha6 might not prove to be a problem for me, do you know how well the turrets on it are? Also, does it have a zero stop?

No zero stop but I don't see why you can't use delrin Washers From ACE Hardware.

Only ONE person who constantly clicked mentioned it stopped but it had been 100% spot on whole others clock theirs besides you can't beat a lifetime warranty it's so cheap just buy 2 and keep one as a spare.

Buy a Crimson Trace and an Alpha6. The glass is unbelievably clear period. The Alpha6 has a superior eyebox too. Extremely eye friendly compared to most scopes I looked through

Can't comment on clicking on HAWKE brand scopes period No matter what tier level price point. There's folks who aren't happy with their tracking of you do your own due diligence AGN search on HAWKE brand.

I simply am blown away by their new GLASS and I personally wouldn't click ANY HAWKE based on reviews I have read so I just holdover.

I'm simply prejudiced against scopes that don't have clear glass all the way to maximum power or have poor eye boxes that are not eye friendly at all and would never recommend them especially if they cost more than an Alpha6.
