Brocock Contour Elite S6 .22

I was rabbit hunting today with my broccock contour. I believe its the perfect hunting rifle where you have to carry it all day
I do have other high end pcps but I wont carry them in the field hunting. too heavy.

The Brocock Contour Elite is still my favorite rifle to shoot, even after getting my new Daystate Huntsman Regal XL. It looks more expensive than it is and shoots very accurate. I shoot it in my back yard all the time as it is definitely backyard friendly. It's so light and easy to handle, so it's very good when you are in the field hunting. As long as its moderate power level is enough for what you are hunting and the distance, you can't go wrong.
This is my only rifle that prefers H&N field target trophy pellets over JSB, although the JSB 15.89 are second best.

I have the older Brocock Contour Elite in .22. It's advertised as the 16 FPE version but I'm actually getting 20 FPE (Average: 705 fps) with JSB Exact Heavy 18.13 gr. I bought this little carbine last year in April from Top Gun Air Guns but I believe they don't sell them anymore. Overall length is 28 inches without the LDC. Speaking of LDC's, this gun is loud without one even though it has a barrel shroud.

Mine did not come with a LDC but has standard 1/2x20 UNF threads and comes with a thread protector. As far as the barrel goes, I'm not too sure if it's an older Weihrauch or Lothar Walther. The air tank is very small and I don't know how many CC's it is. I get about 10-12 shots with an ES of 15-20 fps. I tested for accuracy on a bad windy day and also made a range card. This was my first PCP and I use it mainly for hunting. One of the reasons I got this model was because I like the thumb-hole stock better compared to the newer model. Here's some pics of mine.

the accuracy and the power is great for rabbots up to 40 yards.
​at 30 yards all the groups are running at around 1/4 of an inch or little over
​always under half and inch. and this is inly pellet testing with the first pellets!

​2 years ago what the last time I tested it and I was getting an inch at 50 yards with 18 grain jsb.
what more could you ask for out of a light weight weigh hunter.
and no its not loud at 11 foot pounds and that's the power mine is running at.
