Help with scope and mount suggestions for FWB 300s

I just use BKL mounts and even on the large scopes I have no problem loading a pellet.
A couple of these pictures have the high mounts in the pictures but since I have changed to the medium.

Guys to me there's are about 10 scopes that fit behind the loading port and I like buy again .
Leupold 3-9efr, Leupold VX2 4-12 ( focuses down to 25y)Leupold fixed 6,8, and 12 powers ( but they have to be recalibrated to go down to 25 yards ) ...Nikon 3-9efr , Hawke 2-7 Vantage , Bushnell AR 2-7, and 3-9 , Burris Timberline 4.5-14 ( Not Positive thats the power range) The Burris is nice but it has a LONG eye relief and didn't work out for me . There's a few more , but make sure and look at overall length ! Stay at 12.5 inches Max ! I try an stay below 12 if possible. Some scopes require a rail and then rings

"Jack.K"Thanks you for the input, @Goodtogo, is that a Hawke 6.5-20 on that 300s?

I buy too many scopes but I think that is a SW 8-32X56(I must have been looking for bird mites on that 10 meter rifle?) I don't have a problem loading pellets with any scope on my 300s rifles. Some are large enough to be past the loading port, but any size seems to work for me. I'm not sure how many scopes I have picked up in the last year but here are some of them. My first two Hawke scopes where their less expensive lines.

Panorama 4-12 IR EV
Airmax 6-24x50
SW 4.5-14X42
SW 6.5-20X42
SW 8-32X56

And a couple that people say to try.

Weaver Grand Slam 6-20x40(it was on one of the 300 pictured for a few days.
SWFA SS 16X42
And a few others like some UTGs that will end up on some of my pistols I guess.
Most of my Leopold scopes are on PB rifles but I have one with AO that is In one of the pics its a 3-9x33 EFR AO.

Edit: I think after looking at some of my scopes the one you asked about @Jack.K is a SW 6-24x56 I forgot I had that one.

Joe, I have a 300s and a 300 mini. Both have BugBuster scopes and UTG rings. A lot of discussion about rings seems to indicate that the expensive rings are the ones to have. I use UTG rings on all of my guns with two exceptions. They work fine. In the case of the FWBs, since the grooves in the receiver are so shallow, the BKL rings don't seem to engage.

jack.K , This is just an observation.
If you want to keep the objective bell clear of the loading port and also intend to shoot in positions other than off a bench. I would urge you to go with a shorter scope like the one in Goodtogo's top photo.
To explain further, notice in the last photo of Joe Rhea's pic-collage how the longer Leupold scope is mounted far rearward to clear the loading port. That set-up works very well for him and is fine when sitting at a bench using a rest or sand bags, but it probably will not feel natural when shooting from most other positions. It is hard to tell from the photo, but it looks like your rifle is the shorter mini version which would magnify issues mounting a scope far rearward.
Just something to keep in mind.

A couple of things that I look for on my scope setups.
I want the scope back enough that when I bring a rifle to my cheek with my eyes closed when I open my eyes the scope relief is correct for me.(eye relief can be a little different on each scope). For a "bench only" rifle that may not be needed but I don't set up rifles for bench only. My 300s rifles have deep enough scope rails for the BKL rings to work and the biggest reason I use them comes from using them on some of my long range PR rifles. I don't get any "ring cant" from that style of ring and for long range shooting that means a little more.

As for loading pellets in the 300s, I don't think I have ran into any of my scopes that are blocking the loading port. Some as in the pictures go almost past the port and some may cover a little of the first part of the port. I do seem to remember some scope I had on one of them for a day or two that I may have used my left and right hand at the same time but I do not "try" to buy a scope for that reason. I don't know how many scopes I have, I guess 15+ and I have a bad habit of switching scopes at times.

So either I have smaller fingers or you guys have sausage fingers ;) if it matters where the scope sits.
