What's a good backpack PCP?and backpack?

I love to ride my motorcycle in the warmer months (buell xb12ss) and I'm now looking for a PCP I can take with me on my bike to various shooting locations to plink and possibly pigeon removal but nothing any bigger.i had no idea pigeons could poop sooo much on vehicles under overhangs.
Anyways, what PCP and what backpack should I be looking for?
I already love my .177 gladius and .30 carnivore ,lol but they are definitely not backpack friendly.
I don't mind buying used or even new and as far as caliber it's needs to be pigeon lethal .I just want something I can chunk in a backpack and go.
Budget?not really looking to drop big coin on a high-end that's only gonna get throwed around in a backpack.:)that's what I like about my hatsans no nice wood to be worried about.
Hit me with idea's guys/gals.
Thanks

As kids growing up on suburban Long Island we would take to the roads on 10 speed bikes and shoot in vacant fields and closed commercial structures. A Sheridan bluestreak was the gun of choice. A beach towel with the gun broken down folded around the gun, it was tied to the top bar and off we went. It was a simple low budget venture, young eyes, no scopes, no air, add a pack of pellets good to go. Most backpacks are limited and Cricket compact 24" Mutant shorty 22" costly and longer than the P rod at 19" plus what ever adapter for folding stock. I picked up a cheap backpack from Walmart, it's listed as 18" length and I still use a mountain bike to navigate private lands and use an old wetsuit leg to cover a cricket and protect from zipper chaffing.

ztirffritzMy first inclination is to suggest a P-Rod, but my second thought is do you really want a 3000psi compressed air cylinder strapped to your back while you're flying down the highway at 75mph or an even bigger 4500psi mini-tank? I realize that those things are tough but I don't think I'd want that on my back while riding a motorcycle.

I hope nothing ever happens but if it does at 75mph the air tank will be the least of my worries.:)
The p-rod with a folding stock ?hrmm may just look into that idea.
The air tank I would be taking is only a smidge bigger than a softball and will provide just a hand full of top offs.
I'm thinking backpack,a tin of pellets, small Paintball tank and a compact PCP for an afternoon of riding and a bit of shooting.
Man that would make for a great day.

Crosman 1720T . It is a .177 but tunes easily to 12fpe ( over 800fps) and will shoot 1/2" at 55 yards ( with a shaky shooter) with the plasic pistol stock attached. LW barrel, shroud. On one of the classified ( I look at em all) just a day or two ago was a .22 marauder pistol with MM and stock barrel shroud extention ..... for around $350.00.
The 1720T ( and I'm think the "p-rod" is the same?) can be right nice triggers too.

Not familiar with your riding style but I've ridden with a Soft Fend Bass guitar ( ya ) on my back. They are made to protect $1,000+ instruments, NO scratch insides, padded padded padded, water resistant MANY outside pockets for storage zippers that last forever anti-snag .......... might find one at a pawn shop for $5-15.00. Do NOT under rate a good gig bag.

Post up some picks of what you end up with.

P-rod. hands down, unless you wanted to murder the stock on a brocock S6. or you wanted a target pistol like a brocock.

you may laugh, but i got my hands on a benjamin nitro piston pistol to try out from my neighbor (hes 9) and was pleasantly surprised that at 50y it grouped at an inch with wadcutters. not a lot of power, but would easily do the job inside a barn where over penetration is a concearn, AND its lightweight and no high pressure air to worry about

NOW, because its a beull i know that there are fairly large hard bag options (pannier bags) for that particular bike. in fact pelican makes hard shell adventure cases for the BMW gs1200 that actually fit that buell.

i wouldnt reccomend you have a 3000+psi tank on your back, nor would i ever suggest you carry a pistol with that kind of pressure on your back either.

I've seen some pretty nasty 60+ MPH wrecks where people have survived and slid for hundreds of feet on theyre backs, and some 60+MPH wrecks where people were wearing backpacks.

the problem with backpacks are they fit loose, and even if tightened all the way you will i repeat WILL get thrashed and flipped from biting the concrete/blacktop. I ride, as does my family. save yourself a broken spine/bones and get side bags and figure out what will fit in the bags

heres a forum post about side bags for that bike in particular

and with a little ingenuity and some trouble shooting, you could affix something like these to your bike and be a lot safer then having something strapped to your back

im not telling you what to do, but as a rider thats had some pretty gnarly wrecks in my life, i advise you not to wear a backpack

I do have a tail bag as well as soft saddle bags.i can easily put the tank in the tail bag or one of the side bags but the PCP will have to go on my back unless the Talon p or evanix Rex are short enough without their tanks attached.i believe my side bags are 12 to 14 inches long and 8 to 10 deep a with a width of 5 to 6.
I gotta do some serious checking into before purchasing anything.:)

p rod with a folding stock is about 11 inches long i think. somebody can verify that but in general riding with a backpack is frowned upon unless its a small capacity hard bag thats built into a jacket or something

I have a talonP, mutant standard, and mutant short, all three will fit in the 5-11 Covrt bag. If it were me I would go mutant short, only if you not too concerned with the .22 cal. The 5-11 covrt bag (will hold all 3 but I think the std will be tight from what I have read). If your just plinking you will get more shots/fill with the standard. I also had a P-rod and found it to be less accurate than my talonP, and both mutants.

If your not wanting to take an additional tank or concerned about HPA then I agree with the 1377 (hard to beat the american classic)!

Ok
P-rod 18 inches without a stock and 31.63 inches with ar stock but still need folding adapter +2 inches maybe? Total length around 33.63?
Cost 519$ plus adapter?

Talon p 23.25 inches without stock and not sure what its stock will add.
Cost 454$ without stock
Add 71$ more for it
Total 525$

Rex pistol 20.07 inches without stock .
Cost 699$

I'm gonna rule out the Rex .I think the price tag is too high for what your getting.

The p-rod and Talon p will be my contenders.i like both of them for different reasons ,sort of a toss up atm.
I'm leaning towards the BlackHawk backpack that was video linked because I think I can actually rig it up to ride in the position of the tail bag and put the tank in a saddle bag while ammo and filling gear in other saddlebag.:)
Let's see gotta order altraos compressor soon and put together a compact set up for my riding days.
Lol I need to win the lottery, soo many wants and soo little cash.;)
