Williams Peep Sight On HW30s?

I looked into this option as well for my HW30s. The ones I've seen available are from Daisy or Crosman, both over $60 and appear to be made of plastic. Search for "precision rear diopter sight" on Amazon for examples. I ended up getting a good 4x32 scope and shoot mine within 20 yards as well with no issues. I too had hopes I could find a quality peep sight but for the price, it didn't make sense to get it.

Pyramyd has them-

They're great for close range quick target acquisition.

Mike,

I have a Williams rear sight on my HW30S...I can get ~3/4" c-t-c 10 shot groups w/ my setup @ 25 yards on this new gun still not broken in (see pics): Shooting Crosman Premier Brown Box 7.9g pellets @ 582 fps @ ~6 ft lbs. I have a 8-9 ft lb Vortek kit in the lil green baggy waiting to be installed, but I'd like to see how consistent she will be after the break in period.
I love how she is so light w/ the Williams sight (6.2 lbs), I do have a (22 oz) 16X scope/mount setup I can use on her for better viewing capabilities.

An HW30 with a peep sight is just a ton of fun to shoot! I had a Williams on mine, then switched to an Airforce universal with a Merit Master adjustable iris. Currently my HW30s wears a Gehmann compact rear sight base with a Gehmann adjustable iris. I switched the Airforce sight to my HW35.

At 30 yards and less, I shoot just as well, maybe a bit better, with a peep than I do with a scope. I just enjoy peep sights!

BTW-- my favorite peep sight combination is the Airforce universal base with the Merit iris.
