For sure there are too many laws and fellow air gunners want to help each other.
But why give advice that would be illegal to do,would that be good advice?
Like there is an accident and you rush over to help,you did not look both ways and now you are part of the accident.
I also think people do not respect air guns because they are "only pellet or BB guns".
Respecting all things is a better way,which to me means if you are going to "kill" something it is legal to do and you do it in a way that makes suffering at the very minimal.That is just my opinion.What is yours? Thanks

Still on the fence on which .25 to buy for my next PCP. Staying under 500 if possible and must be Hand pump friendly. Looking for more on the JTS Airacuda standard. How accurately will it shoot slugs and what has been the average fps you guys have actually been able to get out of it? Please feel free to mention other Air Rifles in same category. Know about the Origin a little and the AEA rifles. Thanks in advance.

I noticed that NSA offers .17 cal slugs with a BC that's 3x better than pellets. Has anyone tried them? What's an ideal speed for them? Max range for 1 MOA accuracy?

Bought new from PA shoots amazing, no issues just do not shot enough to justify keeping it. Will arrive with 2 mags fill attachment, original box double layered. Small mark on the stock other than that excellent shape. Finally took the .20 plunge last summer with some old Beeman tins, but current selection is discouraging. H&N told me the other day demand is so low they only plan to offer FTT & Barracudas. Looks like Predator Ploymags are the only hunting pellets of quality.

So, is .20 dead and everyone migrating to .25? What do ye purists say?

As the title says my Uragan hit the floor. Aiming at a ground squirrel, carefully focusing on the crosshairs, my dog took off while leashed to my right wrist.
He pulled me into a concrete post smashing my rifle and myself first into it and then on to the cement sidewalk.
While visibly unscarred (The rifle- I bruised up a bit), when I checked the zero it was shooting easily 4 ft above point of aim.
I presumed I had ruined the scope and wrapped up for the day. However over the past few days, experimenting with different scopes as well as the original scope, it appears something is bent within the rifle.

First off the velocity is the same as it's always been: 940 ft per second with the FX hybrids.

Secondarily every time I remount the shroud I get a different point of impact but all of them extremely high and oft times not able to be zeroed within the range of the vertical adjustments on the scope.
Last night I removed the barrel, rolled it along a flat surface and it is 100% true. I remounted the barrel carefully, put the gun back together and took it out early this morning while the winds were calm-ish.
The results were awful. All the shots were extremely high, no matter how I repositioned the shroud. I did take four shots without the shroud, using hearing protection of course. All the shots were true and below my point of aim. I have a picture of three of them almost in one hole. Examining the internal baffles, it looks like I'm getting some clipping. Previously, quite a few months ago, Derek Wall was kind enough to enlarge in some of those holes to preclude clipping that I might have been experiencing earlier. The day I dropped my rifle, I had just smoked 4 small ground squirrels in a row at 115- 119 yards. I missed a 5th and then took 3 more at the same distance. The gun was working well.

However it looks like I'm clipping again and I can only attribute it to the fall.

I hesitate to continue to bore out the baffles as eventually there will be nothing left. I checked the straightness of the baffles by putting it on a flat surface and then putting a level on each end and it appears to be 100% straight. Picture attached.
At this point I'm considering asking if I can purchase from AGT a new shroud and baffle, but am open to ideas?

Long story short I started out in the pcp world with a Diana Outlaw, a year later bought a FX dreamline and set the outlaw in the corner for over a year. I sold the gun last week to a friend and we shot it yesterday, when the gun went in the corner the velocities and accuracy were consistent and great. Not so now, the accuracy isn't to bad but the gun starts off slow after a fill then quickly increases in speed about 100fps, everytime. The report is inconsistent as well. It's never done that before.
Question, does the gun need to be disassembled and cleaned or can some kind of lubricant be introduced while filling that will loosen the internal parts, whatever is sticking?
Thinking a couple of drops of anti-flammable lubricant introduced via the fill hose might work?

Is it because it's a very popular chassis with the consumers, looks-wise, so best way to compete?

Or Is it because it is the "leanest" possible chassis design for a performance PCP with all extras (stock, etc) removed?

Like a Formula 1 car that has to be deigned in a certain way or it will not be aerodynamic enough and handle well on the road? Either way....are we "stuck" with this chassis?
