I purchased this FX Royale 400 Laminate from AoA used this past week. After just a few days I know I'm more of a bullpup/mini-carbine kinda guy and the form isn't going to work for me personally.

Aside from my personal feeling on the form this rifle shoots phenomenally well. Seems to be very accurate with the JSB 15/18/25grn options. Pushing the 18grs @ 920fps on high. The 3 level adjustment is very nice to have (Med is 700 fps and Low is 500 fps). I was also surprised how light the rifle is. Backyard friendly on Low and Med. High has a small bark - but at 33.5fpe that makes sense.

Comes as shown with 1 magazine in FX Box. No fill probe was supplied to me with the gun, but all you need is an extended foster.

Selling my Vixen 177 long. Absolutely nothing wrong. Gun is super accurate and super light. Custom carbon shroud with Tatsu moderator. I didn't do the work but it looks factory and they did a fantastic job. Shooting 8gr JSB around 940fps 1/2" groups at 50yrds and will one hole them at 30yrds. Only reason I'm selling is wife purchased me another Vixen 177 for my Bday not realizing I had one since it looks a bit different. Super mint - fired maybe 150 rounds through it . No issues - always well maintained and stored safely. Never had any issues with this thing , it shoots great all throughout a fill. I get 3-4 magazines off of a 2800 psi fill

Ok, I'm trying to talk myself into it,.....My Nomad II is out ofcommission for the moment and I have a friend that would gift me a 3500 psi steel tank and a big 3000 psi alluminum one.

329 bucks on Amazon Prime and that is really good considering shipped to Hawaii,....question is on top of the Purple oil what else is needed to get going ?

Also, how do you connect the compressor to the tank ?

Does anyone have the link to the replacement magazine indexing rollers that were available on Amazon? I know I can get them through Edgunwest, or Edgun.shop, but I have a hard time swallowing the cost of a roller and shipping from one of them. I could buy 50 for the same price through Amazon.

Today I grabbed 2 lams. A HW77 and a HW97K both .177. First the 77, I’m clawing and battling the cocking arm, I just about broke all my fingernails trying to release the arm. Yesterday I was shooting my TX200’s just pull the lever. Once I figured out to push the button I was OK. LOL. This 77 has the longer barrel which makes the cocking easier. Once I zeroed my scope at 30 yds. this baby not just hit the spinners but most the time in the centre. Used JSB 10.34 same weight as Hades.
This 97 makes no mistakes, I do. Again same as the 77, once zeroed spot on. I favour the looks of the 97 because of the barrel weight. Heavy winds today. These two are so accurate you can almost control the ricochet. Definitely good enough for the girls I go out with.

This is my first post on AGN, though I made 2,300 on The Yellow many years ago.
I got sidetracked with powder-burners and airplanes for the past decade, but all the new airgun designs have me hooked again. I just bought a Giffard 8mm
from Davis Schwesinger, who is selling his 1000+ airgun collection.
We were talking about his old friend Cecil Whiteside's collection. I mentioned that I cataloged all of Cecil's guns in 2009 or 2010. I spent 4 days counting them
and wished that I'd taken pictures.
While searching through old pics today I found that I did!
I wanted to share them with Davis, and then thought maybe everyone might like to see them.
It looks like I can only post 20 pics at a time, but I have 158 broken into 69 groups.

Looking to trade Vulcan 3. Preferably raptor 25 but open.

I'm making a list of rifles that can shoot 25+ grain .22 cal slugs at 950+ fps for "accurate" long range (over 100 yds) target shooting.. Most of the really accurate shooters I've tried just aren't designed for slugs and/or don't have the power for heavier slugs. So far my list includes:

FX Impact / Maverick / Dreamline (?) with the heavy liner (never shot one but plenty of others have)
AEA Challenger Pro (I had one and sold it)
Airforce Condor (what I'm currently shooting but it needs to be externally regulated for consistency)

Surely there are others that belong on this list?

Took the taipan out after doing a bolt check on the tripod because the head was loose yesterday causing a lot of unnecessary movement that, didn't feel right to me and now makes sense after I found the loose bolt holding the ARCA head on (lot of up and down movement yesterday).

What a difference. This tripod is awesome. Easy to setup, 2 levels, a pouch for snacks or ammo, and it's own matching carry bag.

Set the taipan up at 50 from the target, that's a full mag, 2 fliers are on me, the other 8 in that hole. All this from a compact right out of the damn box shooting nothing special ammo with a little barrel, see last pic so you can see where the actual barrel ends. It's not long.

Also had the @targetforge KRL setup at 40 , still got more practice to do. (After I took some sighters I forgot to change mags, so there is a mag change before the very last target)

Tomorrow it gets a body count

I own a .22 Marauder and it is pretty quiet with the factory shroud. With the power factor being equal, would a suppressed Dreamline or Crown be quieter? I do know that more power, higher calibers, and various moderators impinge on decibels. Thanks
