N/A  Olympic Form

Where are there ISSF related shooting clubs in the US? I was an ROTC university instructor in the late 80s for a short while in MN before I was pulled out to go to Desert Storm. I did ROTC as a prior service cadet in Iowa in the late 70s. I never heard of a rifle or pistol team at either place. Maybe the pool of prospective youth shooters exposed to the sport is pretty small compared to what the Euro and Asian countries have at hand.
There are about 8000-10,000 kids that shoot competitive in HS each year. Most are a part of a JROTC program. Others thru a private club. The CMP is a big part of this and do a lot to support it. USA Shooting Sports supports it to some extent (Jr Olympics, etc). There really is a big underworld of ISSF shooting sports going on under the radar. If my daughter hadn’t been in the right school at the right time I wouldn’t have know it existed. It does exist but gets no publicity unless you belong to the CMP or USA Shooting and get emails of the latest news. CMP has done a terrific job of promoting and growing the sport. It’s mainly focused on HS and college kids. For example my daughter shoots NCAA rifle in college. There are a number of big name colleges that have a NCAA rifle team. Did you know that? Almost nobody knows that unless their kid is on the team. The TCU Women‘s Rifle Team won the NCAA Championship last year. Most shooters had no clue. No publicity. Sad because we have some amazing kids doing some amazing shooting and nobody knows about it.

So i have a old bushnell banner 6-24 x 40mm AO - totally overkill? for Notos

Seeing you already have and your having to buy again I'd say its perfect. At 6x should handle the need at that
yeah id hate to put more money in a pest control rifle but with the huge banner scope it looks a bit ridiculous... And if im going to spend more $ was hoping to be able to have day / night scope like the NV100 Plus (3-12X56). what are some of the budget friendly scope that you all use.. something with side focus.... a NV setup would be nice but even with new tech and costs coming down think they'd be out of budget

N/A  Avenger or JTS airacuda

Yes I seen that one I was thinking about getting it but I have 5 days to go and 3 more post to be able to message people.

Other  Reximex RPA Pistol Review (This PCP Pistol Shoots like a $1500 Gun!) Video Review

Is there a better way to get the trigger springs than Ebay, Someone said something about a pen spring, Just took a pen apart and spring is 4.2 mm dia, and its plenty long, to make 8mm length, May need another spring for the 15mm spring , anyone else try this ,, I am pretty all thumbs working on guns , but it seems simple,,,

What did you order / receive airgun related today? Thread

I like the WestHunter adjustment rings, have a couple of them - well designed, good quality and decent price.

Is the angle of the level adjustable relative to the base or fixed?
It will certainly depend on the scope clamp screws being exactly the same.

What springer did you shoot today?

Started the day with another Diana a 460 .22. It throws the lead, no problem.

Pulled out a HW85 .22 which has a new Vortek spring and seal. It is now a priceless gun. What a transformation.

Was hitting these new disc’s I scored yesterday. 25 in all. Love the sound and the damage it does to the disc.

This is the 85 at 35 yds. Crow

Griffin Airgun Ammo

Anything above 740 gets it warping and expanding. Anything above 800 opens it up, above 825 gets mushroomed.. 920 is the max I've pushed one this far. I have a DRS and Barra250z currently on the way, I plan on using the 19 Or 21gr LDC at insanely high velocity as my main projectile for squirrel and rabbit. I know the Drs will be fine as the superior 1:24 groups them better than pellets in my notos and crown. I'm a definite believer.

What Compressor Are You Using Top Off At 300B?

I will have to see the operation of it but yes no more buckets of ice water preferred.
The CS4 is internally water cooled..No buckets of water...I just got a CS4 for topping off SCBA tanks and filling pcp tanks..Im pretty impressed with initial perfotmance if cs4..I have used a yong heng for three years,,i put about 10 pistons in it along with various other repairs..I bought my cs4 on ebay used refurbished for $350.00 and $55.00 shipping.. I will tell you in year how good the cs4 is... It fills quiet ,safe, pretty easy to use...

Sightron S6 field target

You can’t buy accuracy, but you can practice and that’s what wins.
cavedweller, I also purchased a new BRK Ghost in .177 hp. Comparing it to my Thomas now for about 3 months I honestly believe it is just as accurate. It is about 4 lbs lighter than my Thomas which does help me on the forced positions with the Slll and big S6. The Ghost will likely be replacing my Thomas next season in HFT.
