N/A  Switching to PCP

I think the only way to make a spring gun somewhat accurate would be to scout mount the scope to the barrel, not the spring tube. And then there is the obnoxious reverse recoil. If I ever get another spring gun I would get a side or under lever.

Just get the Marauder or an Armada. A Marauder is a great rifle and a good learning tool also. They are simple rifles to work on and most seals are available at hardware stores. You will need some means to fill the rifle, just to say it. Accurate, light and powerful, one of my custom built rifles, aluminum light weight tube, Huma regulated, .161 porting, Veil camo dip. AGR light FFH and AGR cocking assist, pic rail mounted under fore-stock for bipod, cut down short shroud, moderator adapter. One of my .25s on overwatch duty:

Warne Vapor USA made vertical split rings are strong and light as a feather and precise, available in dove tail and pic styles. A M-Rod is worth buying just for the wonderful trigger.

FX  M3 tuning help

Isn’t it crazy what barrel length and a couple more grains can influence? If you’re happy, please don’t touch it. I just kinda did a double take when you said waaay over hammered and I saw your micro vs your reg setting. I’m not a 700mm guy so I find what they can do and how they do it interesting.
I can tell you I purchased my M3 with a 22 call 600 mm barrel and it shot 26 grain pellets at around 915. Switching to a 25 cal, 700 mm barrel it shot 34 grain pellets at around 915 with the same settings.

UPS - no firearms shipping policy

Easy solution. All your firearms purchases go through your local gun shop. It's been that way for a while now.

Would you deliver a gun to someone you didn't know from someone you didnt know? If you do you could be delivering a weapon to a felon and you could be committing a crime.

Why would UPS take that risk? Why would anyone?

Think about it from a business perspective. It's a huge liability for them. They aren't in the law enforcement business and don't want to be. Why would any shipping company take that risk? One incident could ruin their entire business.

It's an inconvenience to a very few customers balanced against the liability and publicity an incident would cause. Refusing to ship firearms between individuals is a wise business decision. Refusing to ship from a dealer that may be violating the law is a wise business decision. Refusing to ship anything that looks like a gun is a wise business decision.

Came for squirrels, stayed for starlings

I had a few squirrels running amuck in the yard, so I decided to grab the mini tac. I came out the side door and had one at the first bait/backstop location.

I took and offhand shot and just grazed the ear and it took off. The other 2 further out back scattered when they saw their buddy book it outta there.

I was going to put the gun away, and heard a couple starlings up in my tree. Got 2 of them, and had a 3rd I hit low who flew off and dropped out of clean up range.

Tuxing 032 Leaking....fixed

you need a spanner wrench for the top and a good nylon strap wrench for the tube.. I use a 1/2" drive breaker bar on my strap wrench and I think the spanner wrench has two sizes for the ratchet 3/8 & 1/2" might make it a lot easier for you to service it..

It'll also take some 3' cheaters, that thing is on TIGHT, or cross threaded. I'll cross that bridge when I come to it, I may just replace the entire filter unit if need be , instead of fighting it.

Tuxing 032 Leaking....fixed

Those little green O-rings are horrible. I've gone through the ones I have on hand. Any clue as if there is a better solution? durometer, material, size???

Smitty
Mine for this were the black ones, it felt like N70. In this case it was a bad install job, the threads of the cap sheared off some of the inside of the 0-ring. The other one is going to let go at some point, the cap isn't down all of the way.

I have zero idea where the green ones go, I've been lucky so far.

What's the deal with Falcon scopes???

My Falcon is 10 years warranty...if I last that long...
I can confirm that for a $1000 piece price the Falcon glass clarity is superior to Sightron. The Sightron only looks better cosmetically.
Ranging @ 50 M is a crisp, at 100 M the DOV starts blending and need a bit of there and back to find a spot.
Sightron owners raise hands who can zoom in to a full power of x50.... the Falcon can do that.

Drozd Bumble Bee help please

Well, I fiddled with it a little more last night and discovered that the screw in retainer at the top back of the magazine (for valve stem?) Was not tight. Pulled it apart, did a little cleaning and lubricating, and put it back to together. With a new CO2 cartridge installed it didn't seem to be leaking, at least to my old ears. Took a few shots and hung it on the wall.
This morning, to my delight, it was still holding pressure and shooting fine!
