It “kind of” does Jon but nothing that you won’t get used to. I feel it a bit on my cheek but it isn’t bothersome at allI love the looks of the compact but I thought with the mag underneath unlike the maverick it wouldn't get in the way.
Thanks
Jon
Do you have to tinker with it alot?It “kind of” does Jon but nothing that you won’t get used to. I feel it a bit on my cheek but it isn’t bothersome at all
I LOVE the Impact, mine is the Compact M3 in 25 cal
I will look at them now. Does it bother you on cheek weld? How many shots do you get per fill. Did you switch the bolt?I am a lefty , I shoot N50 , Benchrest , FT , hunt , prs

I looked at them and they look good. What kind of shot count do they get? I compete with guys in PRS 22lr and it seems all CZ barrels shoot lights out whether its a powder burner or air.
Thanks
Jon
Have you had any issues with the onboard computer especially in bad weather.did not switch bolt , cheek weld is great ,Ambi . I shoot .177 so it takes more air but 60 shots or more depending on power level .
no issues of any kind , with you style of shooting you might want the composite stock (I'm always being overly careful with the wood stock costing me time . P.S. never had it out in below freezing .Have you had any issues with the onboard computer especially in bad weather.
Funny that you ask because I’m not one to tinker with my guns. I bought it from Utah Airguns and they set it all up for me and I haven’t touched it sinceDo you have to tinker with it alot?
Jon
I like that.Funny that you ask because I’m not one to tinker with my guns. I bought it from Utah Airguns and they set it all up for me and I haven’t touched it since
The Renegade has only electronic trigger.... Super combination !!!..... Reliability of mechanical and a super trigger.Do all the Daystate rifles with a digital display have an electromechanical fire control system?
Thats the deal killer for me with the Wolf series of rifles. If they have models where the electronics are supplemental that would be cool.
What caliber you shooting? I have looked hard at cricket tactical with the composite stock.I have both. Your list emulates exactly what you would get with a Kalibrgun purchased and tuned by Charlie Frear at Georgia Airguns.
The Brocock is a really nice rifle and very accurate, but the Kalibrgun’s are simple, built like tanks, smooth to cock, and just shoot and shoot with not much needed but air.
Fx and dependable is an oxymoron lol, kalibre probably the most dependable out of the 3 you listed, my choice of the 3 areHello,
A brief history of my PCP experience. I traded for a 25cal maunder that was tuned already for energy. It shoots great and I squirrel hunt with it. Thats it. I have a hand pump and will need to get portable compressor to fill. I don't want to drive to town to get tanks filled.
I am want a high end pcp like the ones listed above but I have needs. LOL
Here they are:
1. very dependable
2. I am not a tinker at all, don't want to mess with tuning all the time. Just want to grab gun and go.
3. Mostly for hunting but some plinking. mostly squirrels
4. Accurate
5. good shot count per fill
6. I'm lefty so needs to be ambi. no mags hitting my cheek or having to move head. Bolt can be on right as long as I don't have to lift my head up to work it.
7. compact like the FX M3 compact
8. quiet or able to add moderator
Sorry for sounding so demanding but if I am going to spend 2 grand or so just on rifle it needs to do these things. Most important thing to me is dependable and doesn't need to be tinkered with all the time. I am hunter
Thanks
Jon
I guess you have had some bad times with a fx or know folks that have? I know all quality products can have lemons or issues some of the time but if its more common than yes that would be a major no in my book. I know people can become fanboys and never talk bad about ---------- but I can't afford the luxury of regretting my choice based on issues of reliability or maintenance problems. It seems the more a dig into this level of play with the air rifles the more I like my marauder and the more I am leaning to a quality springer. Yes, I know they have their own set of unique problems. I was looking at the additional cost of a good compressor(at least 800), 4500psi carbon tank with setup(900-1000). So at 3500 to get to play. I know people will say get amazon 300 compressor and replace parts when the go out. No thank you and have to cool it with water out of 5 gallon bucket again no.Fx and dependable is an oxymoron lol, kalibre probably the most dependable out of the 3 you listed, my choice of the 3 are
1. Kalibre gun
2. Brocock
3 fx (but I think I would do without before I bought a fx )
