The problem is If a a Good, Fair Priced, Sought after gun comes up in the classifieds they are usually gone before you even knew they were there....

Now I am Not saying everything that is left, or been renewed a half a dozen times, are all bad guns, bad deals, whatever, they just may not be " the sought after " guns.

Another issue may be the seller themselves, newer member, low or no feedback, etc...

I know i personally will be Uber careful, and / or just walk away, from a listing from someone i do not know or have done a deal with in the past....

Unless the gun was sold as a package deal, with add-ons included, seller isn't getting them for free. The "really good stuff" can cost a bundle, in addition to the $2000 gun. Agree, "Yes, honey, I listed it." has to be valid, who honestly expects to recoup 100% of purchase price? Same week my $1,200 AGT Vulcan 3 arrived from Krales another member listed his one-year-old V3 for same. Granted, probably paid lots more purchasing from sole US importer, but some unsuspecting soul bought it. Buyer Beware, WM

Oh, I fully understand how stupid expensive the extras can be. I just hate reading a deal and salivating at the pictures only to realize half the stuff in said picture is not included and then doing the math to come to the conclusion “Oh wow, this deal really sucks”.

Yeah, doing your homework is essential, most sellers are clear about what's included from what I've seen.

Not always the case. Sometimes people just don’t have the money to spend on that particular item. Then the time of year comes that some have expendable income and it goes. Some of us don’t like to keep dropping the price of something we KNOW is worth more than we’re asking, but the market just isn’t there at the time. Some of us don’t “need” to sell it for the money, so we hold onto it intil there IS a market for it. Then it goes.

Well, from my point of view, I'm not going to disassemble the gun, remove the scope that is sighted in dead on at my preferred range and re-install everything if the gun does not sell, because some clown who joined yesterday (who I would not sell to anyway) with 10 crap posts offers less than 70% shipped. If someone wants pics of the gun stock go to the manufacturers website. Honest sellers provide pictures of the actual item they are selling.

Very true. I have been trying to sell a rifle and at the bare minimum of what I will take, so I will let it sit until someone wants it. If no one does, I'll keep it.
Sellers are different. You have some that need the money and some that just want to reduce inventory. I like this forum the best, so I always offer a lower price here then i do other places I post it.

We occasionally get these gripefests about how others conduct their business in the classifieds.....

It's amazing how often the simple phrase, "you worry 'bout youself" is appropriate when my kids are squabbling about something. It's one of my favorite things to tell them. Usually they hear that when they're coming to me to tattle. It's a reference to this viral video from a few years ago....

Kinda crazy to further think about how many fewer problems we'd have in the world if more adults also took this to heart. In short, if you're interested in a WTS ad, contact the seller and work out the details. If you're not interested (for whatever reason) then move along.

Really the only thing that sells fast or well unless priced Uber cheap pretty much are M3’s. Those babies go quick but many other guns do not. That could be because most people ask too much for everything else. The thing that cracks me up are the (refrain from using insulting name) that renew a listing 10000000 times at the same price no one is buying it for. Or the pellet sellers selling at the same price you can buy them from PA for. Another laugh.

You'd lose that bet. Unless you're talking about only this one forum and this one category. And I didn't knock renewed posts in general, I clearly said people renewing for 6 months. That's excessive.

Either way, my original post was one sentence where I shared my opinion on the topic. You decided to pick at it and now you keep picking and have even started flexing about your sales. Try not to take my one sentence so personally.
