Doing something I always do. Was holding my Evol and Airacuda putting them into my truck and who knows what happened but all of a sudden I felt the airacuda slipping and bam right on the concrete on the tip of the shroud. After that hit nicely landed on my brand new EPL4 scope I got 2 weeks ago. Scope seems fine and gun is fine besides the shroud

So I think I can salvage it after looking at it. Will go into detail on that later when I have more time but it's threaded deep in there and can cut the shroud off at the bulge and think I can have enough threads to make it usable.

That is how we learn! Now try and never repeat the error. Fix the rifle or get a new part hopefully.

Try it, as is, my MAX shroud was so out of round I had to switch it end to end, thanks to a tip from Firewalker, to stop clipping. AirArcher drilled his end cap out to correct same thing! WM

Oh yes, it'll definitely buff out. Just use a little toothpaste, and rub it in a circular motion with a jack-hammer.

Sorry that happened to you Dillan . It gets all of us at some time or another. You had a great attitude about it by sharing it with the rest of us here for some free entertainment haha. I hope it works out for the better in the end. you truly are a pleasure to us here on the forums and have tried alot of different models over the years and shared your experiences with us all here.
