I see in this thread https://www.airgunnation.com/threads/taipan-veteran-ii-owners.1295465/page-3#post-1790669 that @0akhonor bought a Vet 2 from them. Maybe he'll have some comments.

I will add that I've only had one order with them, and it was accessories, but they packed very well, and I had it in a week or 10 days. They have the same parent company as Taipan.
Yes bullet project. As with Epic and Airgun Royal. I did see a few negative comments on trust pilot? But bad experiences always travel fast. I spoke with Oak yesterday and he said they were GTG. It probably take longer to get thing out of the CZ vs Krale in Netherlands. In fact they beat every airgun company for shipping in the USA every time I deal with Krale.

I know Balitas is supposedly shipping airguns to the US now..But if anyone has gotten one from there what was your experience? Krale asks for ID etc and ships super fast in my experiemce ... Anyone familiar with Balistas for airguns?

I ordered an AA S400 from them 2 days ago, the 4th.

Shipping was $39.00.

My AG seems to be moving accordingly 👍

To add, no, they didn’t ask for my I.D.

Excellent communication as well.

I asked them when they would have the rifle in stock since it was still N/A on the last week of Nov. and the lady, Miss Miroslava, told me during TD that her order will arrive next week, Honestly, I was skeptical but there it was the following week (y)

It’s a 12FPE unit, which is what I really want. Their AA S5 and S4 models are the UK version.

This was an old post of mine. I ordered right after I posted and got the item in a few days.

I live in Finland, ordered from Balistas, amazing service and shipping.

Highly recommend.
I live on the Aland Islands (Part of Finland) and they do not deliver here :(
I had to take the ferry to Turku to pick up my package which cost €150.
They used to deliver here but stopped for a to me unknown reason. Do note that it's been around 4 years since my last order so don't know if they deliver here nowdays.

Basically my location is an island and most postal companies see this location as a "remote location" so they don't want to deliver here even though there are many local transport companies that will forward the package for them.

Not sure how many locations in the US are considered "remote locations" but if you live in such a location you are probably already familiar with limitations or refusals from postal companies.

Thought I would add to this thread for those in the USA who are considering buying from Balistas in the Czech Republic.

First thing people ask about when ordering from out of country is about 'duty fees'. I can tell you I paid no duty fee for my delivery from Balistas.

I ordered a rifle from Balistas on 12/6 (Fri). It shipped on 12/10. Made it to Germany in a few days but then was stalled in Germany for ten days. Once it finally left Germany it landed in Kentucky and from there out to Oregon and in the truck to my rural Central Oregon home. Package was in my hands today (12/23) by Noon. 18-days from order to delivery during the busy holiday season is not too bad in my view.

Package was undamaged and the rifle was in perfect condition.

If you are considering ordering from Balistas to the US I would say it's a good risk..., at least from my experience.

Let's see what's inside that box!!

Just want to share my experience ordering from Balistas shipping to California USA. Ordered on March 15th, shipped on the 18th. Landed in Kentucky USA on the 19th and got stuck in customs. I got notifications from UPS requesting couple of documents that needs to be filled out. The first was "Application and Permit for Importation of firearms, ammunition and implements of war", the second document was "Release and receipt of imported firearms, ammunition and implements of war"...

I was like what the heck! I send the documents to Balistas to be filled out, and better yet, I asked them upload the document on their end as I can see they also received the same notification. Also, due to time zone difference, I waited until 3am local time to call Balistas to make sure they are aware of the situation. The guy who picked up the phone greeted me in Czech, but luckily he also speaks english fluently. I made sure he received my email and he said he will have the orders department to take care of it.

Two more days goes by and finally got a message from UPS that my package cleared customs and was released by the government agency on March 21st. Since UPS don't ship on weekends, I got the notification that they'll update delivery time as soon as possible. I was relieved that it cleared customs...but for some reason I received another notification saying customs needs additional paper work. I was pretty frustrated by then, so I called UPS (800-782-7892, their live agent number, thank me later ha!) to asked about the conflicting message I'm getting. The live agent says according to their system, it cleared customs and will by at my door step on March 25th. The notification I was getting was sent automatically due to system error and can be ignored.

Package arrived on March 25th. It was definitely opened prior for inspection but gun is in great shape. So...I ordered on March 15th and arrived on March 25th...would I order from Balistas again? I don't know if this is the typical experience importing from over seas but the hassle doesn't seems all too bad considering I'm getting a Taipan Veteran with limited US distributor. Does any of you have to go through similar process?

I ordered a product from Balistas last Friday after their business hours. Monday I got an email confirming my order, with a shipping notification. Product was to be shipped UPS Express. I got a notification from UPS requesting payment of customs tax on Tuesday, which I paid easily on UPS webpage. I got the product on Wednesday. o_Oo_Oo_Oo_O
That's three days from the Czech Republic to Minnesota!!! Unbelievable! Thats faster than most any thing I buy within the US.
Would I buy from Balistas again? Hell yes!!
