I would like to see the aluminum piston and other internal pieces. Are there any pics of these anywhere?

Mach 1 was only HW GUNS. Custom made. Good but ,only a splendid few were made and they have been bested with todays adjustments and such.. The whole Air Arms unit was a direct production copy of it , same sear design and set up but possibly different angles. That being said I can make a CD trigger do ounces and what more is there.

For Hw guns , rear plug had to be opened up to 14.2 mm for the cassett to fit in.
For the RECORD , Steve Pope made a Mach 3 or a newer trigger that was so advanced that it was far ahead of anything made. I was gonna use them in my personal prototype guns I was planning on going to market with but ,both Uk and USA COLLAPSED IN 2009 2010. And we shelved the idea .. I have plans and pics but out of proprietary respect I have never released them and won’t ..

Absolutely!
That gun is the pinnacle of the spring piston heyday. It belongs to be recognized with other unobtainable vintage air rifles.

Each is not only rare but also unique in design and a special experience to shoot.

I hope Rikard replies, venom and airmasters were the premier uk tuners and innovators of pushing the boundaries of what can be done . I personally prefer the airmasters hw77 rifles . Both companies were excellent. Venom probably more famous but for me airmasters were and still are the best just personal preference. Sadly all gone

Yes im very familiar with venom but not airmasters i have 2 venom guns for sale on ebay right now but would love some info on airmasters. Very sad all of these companies are now gone.

For anyone who don’t know these different calibre barrels all achieve the same power. Airmasters vented them to bleed air so a 22 /20/177 produces the same power very clever and brilliant engineering by them

Steve has more or less answered, Airmasters were a Airgun tuning company based in Luton England in the 1980’s
They started offering tuning and stocks for the emerging Field Target scene initially tuned FWB Sports called Mastersport, when the HW77 emerged they then offered tuned variants of those
The Chameleon was an interchangeable barrel variant based on the 77 offering .177, .20, .22 and .25 barrels
