I did a lot of modding and tuning with my L2 I cannot remember anymore what is a factory condition.
I am dual purposing my FX barrels/liners with the adapter, I am using .22 and .25 cal. I have lengths in x480, x600 and x700.
In the beginning it was an interesting game swapping calibers, but sooner or later that interest faded.
Settled with a .22 in a last year or plus.
The L2 is capable of shooting 24gn MRD's 980-1000 but with a low shot count.
Now imagine this
Custom Plenum tube, 74 bars on Reg, 2x0.8 jets, 16gn Hades, 750 fps, averaging 13 to 14 mags of shots
750 fps is plenty speed to take any adult racoon, confirmed.

Speaking for factory condition, for the current L2 standard offerings, what are the jet sizes come installed in 350mm barrel in .25 cal, .30 cal, and 9mm, as well as respective stock pressure settings? I'm primary interest in the .30 cal numbers but I'm also curious about the calibers on either side.

My impression is it depends a bit on who you buy from. In the States I think EGW installs the jets.

Fare enough. To anyone who bought a .30 L2 (preferably with 350mm barrel, but not picky) as new, what were your installed jet sizes?

Can one of you guys please help. I replaced the ceramic ball that holds the valve pin and it looks like it’s seated correctly and the valve action works but when I go to fill I have a small leak coming out of the pin not the transfer port. How do I stop this or what do I need to replace. Dry firing doesn’t stop it but it does fire.



Air coming from around 5 when fully assembled.

P.s I’ve also tried putting compressed air into transfer port with finger over hole to try and create back pressure to seal valve. I’ve tried it with the gun gassed and degassed.

Oring on white plastic rocket or brass cage. Or dirt on ceramic ball that seals the back of the plastic rocket.

For these small parts having a jewellery lupe close by is always a good thing. I would inspect again if any foreign object/dust/dirt got in between. Also inspect the orings integrity that you ever touch.

I get very good results with knockout mk2 JSB. They are 25,4gr. I have an LW barrel

There is a 2mm ceramic ball, part #45, behind part #11. Make sure it is not missing or damaged.
I replaced #45 with a Tungsten Carbide ball and #14 with a Stainless Steel 4x2mm bead, because those parts can have rough edges.

Here's an example of #14:

I replaced o rings 36 38 and 39 the little ball on 41 is there and seated but I’m still getting air through that pin like the valve isn’t sealing completely. This all came about when the ceramic ball 14 broke( second time in 6 months first time I sent in and paid 300) I’m running a 9mm so I upgraded to ball to the steel one that’s on Francisco’s website. I even tried putting back in the ceramic spare I have same issue so I’m going with the steel. Everything else about what I did works minus I can’t figure out what’s going on

Hello all - been a while - so I bought a 137cc monster plenum / reg as found on the Leshiy 9 and fitted it to my L2 30cal/350mm it’s already increased my FPE from 62 up to 81 without a big amount of experimenting - but the reg is (I slightly assume, as I have no gauge) at about 180 bar and it’s around 180 bar on the bottle pressure that the FPS begins to drop when I chrono it, so yes, 180 bar with a 0.1 and 0.2 jet can get about 3 mags at full power on a 350 bottle - but I was just wondering if anyone else has ran a 30 cal barrel on the larger 137cc plenum and what sort of settings they used - to be honest I expected more power as the L29 in 350mm gets about 110/115 fpe - is it the smaller barrel size restricting the amount of force that can get behind the projectile? Anyone with any input who’s tried this configuration or similar ?

Possibly you're blowing a lot of air after the projectile has left the barrel. If you like more power I'd try with a heavier projectile.
