Classifieds User Agreement

This is a supplemental agreement to the primary Rules and Terms that govern this site.

1. Airgun Nation’s Role

• Airgun Nation provides an online platform where members may list, buy, sell, or trade airguns, parts, and related accessories.
• Airgun Nation does not act as a party to any transaction, nor do we broker, endorse, or guarantee any sale, trade, or purchase.
• Airgun Nation does not verify the accuracy of listings, the condition of items, or the ability of buyers/sellers to complete a transaction.

2. Member Responsibilities

• The Service is only available to individuals 18 years of age or older. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.
• If under 18, you represent that you have parental or guardian consent to use the Service.
• The Service is only available to individuals who have a minimum of 10 days + 10 posts or replies within the forums.
• Members are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of their listings.
• Members are solely responsible for communicating, negotiating, and completing any transaction, including shipping and payment arrangements.
• Members must comply with all federal, state, and local laws regarding the ownership, sale, and shipment of airguns and accessories.

3. Creating an Ad

• Create only 1 unique ad. After 7 days your ad will expire and you will be prompted to Renew, Edit, or Change the status of your ad. Do not create duplicate ads regardless of their age. If you've dismissed the renewal prompt, you can locate old ads by going to Forums > Find Your Threads.
• The buying, selling, trading, or gifting of a standalone airgun moderator is prohibited. An airgun moderator may be included in your ad ONLY if it is “affixed” to the airgun.
• Select the type of ad from the drop-down box (eg: WTS, WTB, WTT, Free).
• Select a Prefix (Rifle, Pistol, Scope, etc.) to help with sorting and searching.
• Specify a price and whether or not it is negotiable (eg: firm, flexible, trades) — this is not an auction site.
• Specify if shipping is included in the price.
• Specify the region you are willing to ship (eg: CONUS only, International, UK only, etc.).
• Specify the type of payment you prefer (eg: Paypal, Venmo, Zelle, check, money order, etc.).
• Provide as much information as possible (eg: make, model, caliber, condition, reticle, etc.) to minimize questions to your inbox. (Commenting or replying to ads is disabled — use the PM system).
• Linking your ad to an external sales site (such as Amazon, Ebay) is prohibited.
• Deleting the contents of your ad is prohibited.

4. Transactions & Risk

• All transactions are strictly buyer beware. Members assume all risks when engaging in a transaction.
• Airgun Nation is not liable for any disputes, misrepresentation, shipping, damages, defective items, claims, losses, fraud, or injuries arising from or related to use of the Classifieds.

5. Prohibited Items & Conduct

Members may not:

• List items that are illegal to own, ship, or sell in their jurisdiction.
• List standalone airgun moderators. An airgun moderator may be included in your ad ONLY if it is affixed to the airgun.
• List any firearms or NFA (National Firearms Act) items.
• Misrepresent the condition, authenticity, or legality of items.
• Engage in fraudulent, abusive, or deceptive practices.

6. Verification & Security

• There may be optional 3rd party verification services. These services are not a guarantee of legitimacy and do not create any liability for Airgun Nation.
• Members are encouraged to use secure payment methods and to exercise caution when transacting with individuals they do not know.

7. Disclaimer & Liability

To the full extent permitted by law, Airgun Nation, its parent company, officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, affiliates, and successors in interest (“Airgun Nation”):

• Make no promises, warranties, or representations as to Airgun Nation, including its completeness, accuracy, availability, timeliness, propriety, security, or reliability.
• Provide Airgun Nation on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis and any risk of using Airgun Nation is assumed by you.
• Disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including as to accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
• Disclaim any liability or responsibility for acts, omissions, or conduct of you or any party in connection with Airgun Nation.
• Are not liable for any 3rd party services.
• Are not liable for any direct, indirect, consequential, incidental, special, punitive, or other losses, including lost profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or injuries, arising from or related to Airgun Nation.

8. Claims & Indemnity

• You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold Airgun Nation harmless from any Claims, losses, liability, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) that arise from a third party and relate to your use of Airgun Nation.
• You agree to be liable and responsible for any Claims Airgun Nation may have against your officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates, or any other party, directly or indirectly, paid, directed, or controlled by you, or acting for your benefit.
• Any claim, cause of action, demand, or dispute arising from or related to Airgun Nation (“Claims”) will be governed by the internal laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law provisions, except to the extent governed by U.S. federal law.

9. Termination of Use

Airgun Nation reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the Classifieds section at any time for violation of these terms or for conduct deemed harmful to the community.

10. Agreement

By participating in the Classifieds section, you acknowledge that you understand and accept these terms along with the primary Rules and Terms that govern this site.
