That is no good during tornado warnings. Electrical archs and flashes are the foot prints of those guys.

With the wind we've been having, any hanging target is a moving target.

I use a cell phone to record with using a short microphone stand with clamps to hold it. The same stand that I clamp my pocket chrony, or flashlight on.

That true in the hunting scenario, but not on the bench especially over paper, and the Athelons have illuminated reticals useful for those situations if you need that.

I own both those and prefer the Element. The Athelon didn't come with flip up lens caps like Element does. Those are an extra PIA, and expensive. I bought the Athelons for the illuminated reticle. Either are great scopes with great warranty. 👍
