FX FX Impact X problem, need some assistance. Thanks

I've done it. Dissassembled, dried, and reassembled when done. Water shouldn't intrude anything, other than end up on all the mechanical parts. As long as there is pressure in the tank, it won't intrude that either. I wouldn't dunk it and leave it without cleaning everything up. Water won't...

FX FX Impact X problem, need some assistance. Thanks

If you are confident with disassembly and reassembly, then I would dunk it in the tub and see where the leak is. I had a hard to find one once and it ended up being one of my digital pressure gauges. It was leaking out of a charging port on tge front of the gauge.

Brand new Impact M4 not grouping at all

Some thoughts I have: Bad liner Bad scope Loose scope mounts or rings Barrel needs broken in, cleaned, or just may not like that projectile Perhaps a slightly different diameter projectile is needed or a different projectile all together The bullet speed is either too fast or too slow for...

Brand new Impact M4 not grouping at all

Wow. I shoot a 35 cal and hardly ever clean the barrel.

Lead and its impact on raptors

Other considerations and questions I would have with polymers would be: If there were a polymer projectile that was higher than 11g/cc (leads sectional density), didn't melt when under extreme friction, heat, and pressure, or disintegrate at impact; would a manufacturer even use it? Reason...

Lead and its impact on raptors

Ok, I'll bite. The only polymer projectiles I have ever observed has been with bullets coated in it as a lubricant or installed on the tips of bullets, aka, a ballistic tip to achieve higher a bc. Underneath is still a normal copper coated lead round. Personally, I am unaware of any polymer...

FX Fx impact m4, why did they got rid of 1st reg?

And I worry about 7 to 8 shots per fill with a 700cc bottle at 250 bar with my m3:ROFLMAO: I run a huma hp reg at 190 bar with the first "gimmick" reg deleted. In all seriousness. I would not want 300 bar to potentially end up by my face, especially with parts that are not designed or made for...

Airgun Technologies Vulcan 3 700 .25 vs.... Any other?

I completely agree. Imo, the 30 and even the 35 cals yield a nice blend of killing power, shot count, accuracy, and reasonable ammo costs. Al though I would advocate for 45 cal and up, pretty much any critter up to the size of a deer can be put down with those two calibers. I sure know my 35 cal...

    An Introduction

Welcome. I have hunted whitetails around Kamiah a couple times in the past. It is a cool area. If you are considering a compressor and finances allow, I would consider the manual Alkin w31 upright in 240 volt. As far as new airguns, well that is a very opinionated answer and can very greatly...

FX FX Impact M3 adjuster wheel Velocity reversed

Like everyone has said, 145 bar isn't much and you have too much hammer weight. You can easily open that with a brass hammer or likely a stock hammer and heavier spring. I use a similar setup as you have now, but I am using a 35 cal and opening it near 190 bar. If you want to try a brass hammer...

You won’t believe the answer I have gotten to this problem

Personally, I wrote of MTC years ago after owning one. Since then, I have chosen to stick with brands like Vortex, Athlon, Nightforce, March, etc.... MTC's optics never impressed me and especially for the price. I'de try for a refund and if that isn't possible, throw it in the trash. At least...

FX Brand New FX Impact M3 not firing

A couple questions come to mind. What does the plenum regulator show for pressure? What does the bottle/fill regulator show for pressure? It is my understanding that the gun in fact cocks when the bolt is used and because you hear a clang after pulling the trigger.
