The replacement (GX Mini) was no good, didn't work even once. This one is still working, but the 110/12V power supply went out, so I'm running it on my yard tractor battery, which has a trickle charger attached to it all the time.

If you'd have taken it apart you'd see the firing valve pin is too long, it flexes just a wee bit until over time it breaks, where the o-ring sits on the firing pin inside the valve body, the pin is thinnest at that point. It's a flawed design. An otherwise great little airgun but severely flawed.

I've a Wheeler gunsmith tool kit, I was planning on reviewing that too at some point. Great stuff, the screwdriver bits are made for guns, the way they're ground for fitment, blades of various width and thickness; typical hardware store or mechanic's screwdrivers aren't really suitable for guns.

I'm sorry, but when I shoot a rabbit and it hops six-feet straight up in the air and comes down, never to hop again, I enjoy that. I simply don't like rabbits. And no, my mom didn't beat me on top of the head with a rabbit as a baby. At least I don't think she did. Mom!?

My weirdest rabbit story, last year from the window in the above photos, I shot a baby bunny with a Barra 1866. Then I went off for a cup of coffee. When I returned, the baby's mama was nearby feeding on grass, while it baby's intestines were strewn across the lawn. I thought, did a crow or hawk...
