Bullet sizing nonsense, AEA and Huben

Oop, you're right about the V3. As I understand I got an improved V3 mag release lever and that was on my mind as I wrote this up. I'll borrow a micrometer and give it a go once I confirm I can get the barrel off and on without goofing something up.

Bullet sizing nonsense, AEA and Huben

So, after firing a Huben GK1 Mk II and having it self destruct it came back from the repair shop. Great experience with Kraz, receipt below. Part of the issue was the .25 ammo was undersized, which had it shooting soft and eventually led to a jam in the barrel. Taking a follow up after the...

AEA HP Max Barrel Leak Repair

There is a grub screw there. It threw me off because I didn't see it on the exploded diagram. I want to make sure it's not integral to some other part of the mechanism as I didn't see it on the youtube disassembly video for the .357 either. I tried to get in touch with a tech at BIN TAC, but...

    AEA SF Sniper Ballistics

So, I spent a while trying to sight in a new scope to 100 yards. Sorta got it, then I had a really hard time hitting anything beyond the target. I thought maybe my pressure was just too low and went out again today. I could hit things within 100 yards but shots were all over the place. I found a...

AEA HP Max Barrel Leak Repair

Do you mean under the fill probe? I only removed the gauge and forward grub screw.

AEA HP Max Barrel Leak Repair

As you see in the picture, I got most of the tank unscrewed, removed the grub screw holding the base of the tank in, and removed the gauge. I couldn't get the tank base off. You say it just slides out?

AEA My Zeus is not charging air- anyone with thoughts why that may be?

If cocking during fill doesn't help, find the leak. On my compressor I need to shove the hose down a little before it'll pressurize the hose and seal. After that it's a game to find where it vents. Try holding your finger over the barrel. Both ends if the bolt is open. It's easier with a tank...

AEA HP Max Barrel Leak Repair

Well, I pulled it all out and put it back together. Nothing seems to be wrong with the spring -- it sticks out the back and compresses as expected when I screw the stock back on. I'm going to try and get a tech on the phone at BIN TAC.

N/A Favorite pcp air gun for survival off grid bugout ?

I really like the GK1, but when it broke Kraz Cool airguns said I couldn't buy parts to work on it because they need a 'specialized tool'. Maintainability is critical to me in a survival situation.

    AEA 7000 psi compressor. ??

Kpac has been giving some incorrect advice about the transformer, you seem to have an idea for a workaround though. The three lobe connector is called a NEMA C5, I need to see pictures of all of the ports on the transformer and I can probably send you an link to a cable that will work. The...

Huben Look what came in today

That's a negative from me. I should get mine shipped back within the next week, it doesn't have far to ship.

Huben Look what came in today

I'd never heard of a v3+, I know I'm getting an improved handle from Kraz Cool airguns.

Really, all shots were clocking about half the expected speeds.

AEA HP Max Barrel Leak Repair

I found a YouTube video of a .357 HP MAX disassembly. The .50 is very different. I was led to believe that this middle hole here, where the gauge was, should have some accessible parts to replace. There's nothing in here but a thin o-ring. I removed the set screw for the tank but it's not...

Huben Look what came in today

I have a .25 Huben GK1 V3 in for repair right now. It's a premium gun, but whatever kind of pot metal they made the magazine release lever out of snapped while closed, without handling, during regular shooting. Definitely keep an eye on that.
