    N/A The Cheap Seats

I beat ya to it. Put my .22 avenger in a BR stock and swapped the short bottom tube for a second long one. Under $500 build that has produced sub moa groups at 100yds. With the BR moderator it is LONNNG! I own 6 PCP’s and the most expensive one is my Cayden. I think I gave $550 for that...

FFP Scopes and all the hype

Funny, I don’t see a lot of “hype” one way or the other. It‘s all a matter of preference. Close up pesting, sfp and low magnification. Long distance targets, higher mag and sfp. Being an expert in human vision has nothing to do with it. I’m 71yrs old, wear trifocals, and left eye dominant. I...

Benjamin Who has shortened their .177 Akela hammer spring?

Great benefits from shortening the spring. Adjustability and shot count increase. I was not a .177 fan until I got my Akela … and cut the spring. My only cmpl is not having forward cocking handle. That would just be icing on the cake.

Benjamin Not the latest and greatest

I have the Cayden in .22, and Akela in .177. Both are fantastic shooters and very reliable. If I were interested in .25 caliber I would most likely pick up a Kratos from Rich. Curious as to what Benjamin will replace the Craftsman series with. Would have a hard time making something better at...

Rich, does the .177 kit contain a different valve spring then?

    Just bought a Akela

Thanks Ed. I’ll try that first. I already cut it some, but will take it to 2.58 and see how it does.

    Just bought a Akela

That’s a shame. The best bargain in the pcp world.

    Just bought a Akela

just FYI, I picked up one in .177 about a month ago. According to Rich, the .177’s are new, just not in boxes. I cut down the hammer spring and this thing is a tack driver. He is having a Black Friday sale on them. $169. Don’t pass this up if you are even considering one. You won’t be sorry. A...

    N/A Avenger or JTS airacuda

I went with .177 this time because I needed to power down in order to shoot birds safely inside my warehouse when they get in. With the Akela, I get the option of full power for slugs, or lower for pellets in the building, with a twist of the power wheel. It’s a tack driver either way.

Speaking with Rich at Airgun revisions, he has pretty hi praise for the XM Bull Shark. Says it shoots great and loves th ergo’s.

    N/A Avenger or JTS airacuda

Don’t have personal experience with the JTS, but do own an Avenger in .22. It’s a great shooter, light weight, and fully adjustable. Have it in the Buck-Rail stock, with the B-R adapter and tapered moderator. Consistently hits my 3” gong at 100 yds. Have busted clay birds at 140. My only...
