What pistol did you shoot today

HW45 is an awesome gun! It kicks a bit and is grip-sensitive, but that’s one of the things I like about it …. good training for my PB’s.

What pistol did you shoot today

After putting this little Colt through it's paces and running a bunch of ammo through it, I have to say I'm pleased. Getting over 80 shots per cylinder, 350fps with steel BBs, and 500fps with the AGS plastics. Not too shabby. At 10 yards the plastic BBs group better than the steel, perhaps...

    Other Revolver carbine?

I never heard of this. Pretty cool. Something for me to research a bit

    Other Revolver carbine?

Exactly. Taylor Firearms sells the 1858 with a longer barrel and a rifle stock … Remington Revolver Carbine. However it’s a PB not an airgun, and comes as black powder unless you get the optional conversion cylinder. If only someone made such a thing as an airgun. It’s a real beauty.

    Other Revolver carbine?

Those of you who have seen an 1858(?) Remington revolver carbine might be wondering … Why has no such thing been made as a pellet gun? I’ve often wondered that. I have an Umarex Colt and Barra Schofield, both of which use shells with pellets. I believe someone also makes an 1858 Remington...

Crosman M1 Carbine BB Guns, Old and New

I’m still waiting for an all-metal, hardwood stock, semiautomatic, shell ejecting, pellet firing M1A with a rifled barrel. No plastic, thank you. There are already shells made that house pellets (Barra Schofield, Umarex Colt) so it seems that a semiautomatic shell ejecting rifle would be an...

Recommend me pistol options for a vintage collection

Baikal Makarov MP-654K, .177. All steel construction except the plastic grips. Suppose to be a BB gun but has a rifled barrel. I never shot BBs through it, but loaded pellets right into the breech … so, single-shot it. Very accurate with pellets. Schimel, .22. Surprisingly accurate and almost...

Other New Additions to the Replica collection

For anyone with a Beretta m92 ... These pictures show the wear on the loading ramp after only around 200 shots with steel BBs. Only the right side is shown here but the same wear is seen on the left side of the ramp as well. This does not bode well for longevity, at least not with steel ammo...

What pistol did you shoot today

This looks looks like something I'd like to try with my 2240 ... upgrade it from single shot to a repeater. What breech and barrel are you using here? All these repeater mods are new to me.

What springer did you shoot today?

I started with it farther back as you say and ended up moving it forward because I found it easier to center the front sight in the window. And since I’m a bit farsighted the peep gets blurry it’s too close to my eye.

What springer did you shoot today?

Every time I break out the old Diana 48 it makes me smile. All steel and wood, no plastic here. She kicks with a good solid *thud* and lands ‘em all in the black. Yeah, it’s heavy but I like that, seems to help me stay on target. Thought about adding a scope but that Williams peep sight seems to...

Thoughts on PCP at higher altitudes

True, but the pressure differential would change, and that’s the parameter I was concerned about.

Thoughts on PCP at higher altitudes

Ok. Seems like the performance might actually improve with altitude. I like that. Now, if I fill my gear to max pressure at low altitude, is anything going to burst if I take it to high elevations? Never heard of it, but figured I should ask.
