Once they know the price of an accurate 100 yard airgun they will be happy to pay 3-4-5 times less for an accurate 50-60 yards airgun.

the 1701 is indeed capable of great accuracy,fact it is about the most accurate pistol within its' shooting range .

It is ok,I do have others places to shoot at much longer distances,what great is I can also fish there.I have a 30 yard range to shot at...

I have been looking up everything mentioned here in this post. I really really like RAW products. There are made in the good ol U.S.A...

Check with Baker Airguns if interested in a RAW. They had some very good prices on them.

Heck if you're going for 50yds and in and not for competition. There are plenty of sub $600 air rifles.
