    Pellet trap target

Same here. I'm kind of a belt and suspenders guy, so I double up on the cardboard. Allow me to explain in sort of a step-by-step fashion. Like a lot of folks, I used large plastic tubs for my rubber mulch filled pellet traps. I got a specially-priced three-pack, so for each trap, I - Cut out...

    Pellet trap target

That'll be great at distance! I built my own a bit larger, and just put cardboard 'sheets' on the front with six rows by five colums of those two-inch shoot-n-see adhesive targets so I don't have to get my lazy butt up very often to replace anything. Enjoy!

    HW/Weihrauch Weak guy springers

Yeah, that certainly would help, and when I recently rebuilt my pellet traps to use rubber mulch, I also bought some of those 1-inch thick, 2' x 2' rubbery floor 'tiles' everyone uses as yoga/workout mats to replace my old backstop. Six of 'em all together do the essentially redundant job fine...

    Best light options for ladies?

It's a pretty radical departure from your original line of thought, but you might consider getting each of your four kids their own lightweight, accurate and reasonably powerful Crosman 2023 anniversary special variable pump pneumatic air rifle. You'd be getting four excellent, low-cost ($300)...

    HW/Weihrauch Weak guy springers

Yes, I have thought about both under and side-lever rifles, but I'm not going to risk hundreds of dollars on a rifle I haven't tried (or tech with which I'm not already thoroughly familiar). I thought using the Omnia ZRS would be well within my capabilities, as I'm mostly just not ambulatory...

    HW/Weihrauch Weak guy springers

That ought to be about the perfect KISS solution, but not in this case. The butt isn't even close to being flat, so it's a considerably more difficult task for me to anchor on the smooth wooden floor to 'break' it. Thanks for the suggestion though.

    HW/Weihrauch Weak guy springers

Sorry to take so long to get back to you. I think I still could do something along these lines. I had in mind the simple idea of a short length of 1x1, or a scrap of something similar, screwed to the floor on which to help anchor the butt... maybe a couple of pieces in an L shape. A portable...

    HW/Weihrauch Weak guy springers

Hey, I need to give that a try. I'm disabled, although able to power up all of my variable pumpers; from just a few pumps to all of them, even with my Seneca Dragonfly MK2's and Benjamin 392s & 397s. ;-) Usually, I can 'pump' up my much more powerful break barrels too, although, depending on the...

    Turkey alert

On top of the turkeys, we have some other critters frequenting our home now as well: Groovy the groundhog moved in under the cement stoop of our next door neighbors (he loves watermelon), and as hard as we've tried to get 'em to go elsewhere, a mother skunk raised up a small crop of babies...

    Advice on initial purchase.

I suspect you'll be pleased. For the money, you can hardly go wrong.

What did you order / receive airgun related today? Thread

I just received something nice from Pyramyd Air: 'finally broke down and splurged on four tins of Predator GTO pellets in .22 caliber for myself. As expensive as any of the alternatives to lead are, I decided to go ahead and get myself something I really liked for a change. ;-) My C362, C2023...

    Turkey alert

Yes -- Turkeys often roost in trees. It's a rare sight, but pretty cool to see a tree at dusk or in bright moonlight with a full crop of turkey fruit everywhere. ;-)

Gamo NEW Gamo Variable Pumper for '24?

Hey, no problem whatsoever. I appreciate you finding the time to write me the note. Just take care of you and those that mean something to you. Selling, buying, packing up, moving and trying to get moved in can be about too much fun too. You've got about a full load on board and no mistake...

    Turkey alert

My wife and I live in a townhouse subdivision in downtown Manassas, Virginia. Basically, it's just another DC suburb nowadays. Not a particularly HUGE 'burb, by big-city standards, but large enough to support more big-city stuff than my wife and I really like. Anyhow, we have a very small...
