My cheap $25 chinese chronograph that mounts to my barrel doesn’t require a light source and is reading within 2 fps of the f1 chrony when the light source is fixed above the diffusers. When I was strictly using the F1 chrony I experimented with moving the overhead lights around and it did...

I have a crony F1 and I get very inaccurate readings if there’s too much sunlight outside or not enough light altogether. Personally, I would try to set up indoors with controlled lighting, much more accurate and consistent.

Thanks guys! It was a ton of fun to capture all of that on video. Up here in the north east we don’t see a lot of eagles so it’s a treat to spot them. If they were picking the eyeballs out of my cows and livelihood, I would probably think differently of them too.

I had the same issue with my brother’s M3 .22 700 mm when it was tuned to 95% of max velocity. After many hours of experimenting I found that tuning to 98% gave the best results…no slow first shot(s)! But at the expense of less air efficiency/decreased shot count. Btw the m3 was shooting...

I didn’t mention it but I did use warm water. I removed and cleaned the separator and desiccant beads, both check valves in the head, as well as blew out the lines. The separator had some gunk mixed in with the desiccant beats. I threw them away and added new desiccant.
