FX Wildcat Mk III - Leaking Air

Hey all, I filled my FX Wildcat Mk III up to 210 bar, and put it back in it's gun case for about 3 weeks. Upon taking it out the other day, I noticed that the fill tube had dropped to around 50 bar. So it's still holding air...and it must be a slow leak coming from somewhere. I'm comfortable...

    FX Wildcat Mk3 Question

Thanks, that is helpful. I guess I could just always clean the barrel in place for ease, pushing the patches through the barrel from front to back, with the cocking lever in the pulled back position (safety on, obviously). Really just wanting to clean the lead build up on the inside. Thanks man!

    FX Wildcat Mk3 Question

Got a new FX Wildcat Mk3. Quick question: For cleaning the barrel, is it safe to completely remove and pull off the entire barrel, while the air cylinder is still pressurized? It won't start pissing out air everywhere if I remove the barrel to clean it? Thanks, Brett

Tuning NEW FX Wildcat Mk3 Sniper (.22) - NEED HELP, NEW GUN NOT SHOOTING

That's good to know, thank you. Good thing I didn't get myself into that situation, where I'd be having to perform screw removal surgery haha. Been down that road too many times with weak metal screws getting stripped out or snapping/shearing. Hopefully my hammer didn't suffer any kind of damage...

Tuning NEW FX Wildcat Mk3 Sniper (.22) - NEED HELP, NEW GUN NOT SHOOTING

UPDATE: Sorry to keep all of you hanging on the edge of your seats. I had to work late last night and the wife was bugging me for attn, so I didn't get around to testing if it fired or not until around 9pm. ALAS, the moment you've ALL been waiting for has arrived........THE GUN FIRES...

Tuning NEW FX Wildcat Mk3 Sniper (.22) - NEED HELP, NEW GUN NOT SHOOTING

UPDATE: I made a trip to Home Depot to get a proper set of metric hex wrenches (damn swedes), and I have successfully removed the shipping/lock screw (1.5mm hex wrench was needed). I have attached a few photos below, for those that are interested. Furthermore, loading a single pellet from the...

Tuning NEW FX Wildcat Mk3 Sniper (.22) - NEED HELP, NEW GUN NOT SHOOTING

@pieterdg - The shipping lock screw you describe, is still installed inside of my FX Wildcat. What exactly does this screw do? Does it prevent air from being fired through the gun? Also...I have tried every single size of allen wrench that I own, and none of them will fit into the screw. What...

Tuning NEW FX Wildcat Mk3 Sniper (.22) - NEED HELP, NEW GUN NOT SHOOTING

OK....I can not get this gun to air up for poop. The pellet probe is lined up with the barrel when I put it back together. Everything is correct. I can however, hear air escaping inside of the breach block after i give it a couple minutes worth of pumping (yes, im using a hand pump). What do I...

Tuning NEW FX Wildcat Mk3 Sniper (.22) - NEED HELP, NEW GUN NOT SHOOTING

UPDATE: Sorry for the delay in response. I had to go to the hardware store to get a slimmer wrench, to fit onto the manometer nut (didn't want to scratch or damage the gun with my fat wrenches). I have partially disassembled the rifle (see pic below), and pushed 2 pellets (JSB Exact 18gr...

Tuning NEW FX Wildcat Mk3 Sniper (.22) - NEED HELP, NEW GUN NOT SHOOTING

All - Thanks for all your responses and help with this. I don't believe there are multiple pellets stuck in the barrel. I only ever cocked one pellet into the rifle, when the magazine was loaded into the gun, and when it didn't fire, I removed the magazine. But just to be sure...I'd like the...

Tuning NEW FX Wildcat Mk3 Sniper (.22) - NEED HELP, NEW GUN NOT SHOOTING

@ladwict - The rifle is now degassed. It was full...lots of hissing and whooshing of air during the process...so definitely is holding air. What next lol?

Tuning NEW FX Wildcat Mk3 Sniper (.22) - NEED HELP, NEW GUN NOT SHOOTING

@xyon - How do I fix a stuck valve lol? And when I adjust the hammer adjustment to full power, or 7, the hammer spring does clink a lot harder and audibly louder...so I'm not sure that is a matter of it being set to low...it does clink pretty hard on max setting.

Tuning NEW FX Wildcat Mk3 Sniper (.22) - NEED HELP, NEW GUN NOT SHOOTING

@ladwict - Are you referring to the brass bolt underneath the air cylinder manometer (see pic below)? If so, loosening or unscrewing it slightly is how you degas the cylinder then? I was wondering how to do that...for when its in storage and not being used. And there is no danger to doing this...

Tuning NEW FX Wildcat Mk3 Sniper (.22) - NEED HELP, NEW GUN NOT SHOOTING

@xyon - When the rifle is cocked, there is no more rattling. So that seems to be functioning correctly. And when I pull the trigger after cocking it, the hammer does appear to be flying forward because I can hear the clunk noise. There is just no air coming out...I think that's the only issue here.

Tuning NEW FX Wildcat Mk3 Sniper (.22) - NEED HELP, NEW GUN NOT SHOOTING

@Corvid_hunter - The gun only makes the noise I described, when the gun is uncocked. Once the rifle is cocked, the noise is non-existent; in both safety and fire mode. On that note, I believe the clinking noise is likely not part of the issue here. And now that I recall, the customer service rep...
