Western Airguns Working to Figure Out the Western Rattler .357

Early on I had a problem with my reg. I think a little metal shard came off of the bottle thread area and got stuck in the plastic reg valve seat. Caused it to leak pressure to the plenum. Pain to fix... had to dig out the tiny shard from the plastic and then hammer the seat together to seal...

Western Airguns Working to Figure Out the Western Rattler .357

For the cycling thing... someone mentioned the barrel. Good thing to check, it may be to tight against the mag and getting tighter as the gun contracts from cold temps. And don't forget the lever on the left side. I've forgotten to flip it down after loading the mag and it won't cycle.

Western Airguns Working to Figure Out the Western Rattler .357

The cover on the right side with the logo has a bunch of trigger components inside. I haven't felt the need to add grease, but I took the cover off out of curiosity and it's holding a rube goldberg machine worth of components. I'm sure the components in there contribute to the feel.

    AEA Big bore tuning

I own 3. 1. HP SS MAX 357 has had no issues. 2. SF .25 is a wonky design with cheap mags that break if you look at them wrong. 3. Challenger elite .51. Came with a horribly defective barrel. Returned for another which had the exact same issue. AEA refused to acknowledge or repair the problem...

    New AEA SLUGS

Man... I've been hoping they would make some more lathe turned slugs... I'll be patiently waiting for some heavy 357s.

    Tuxing 032 Leaking....fixed

Just serviced my filters for the first time today. Took a 2ft long crescent wrench, a 2ft pipe wrench, my whole body and both hands. Completely, absurdly, unnecessarily tight. And don't get me started on the rusty steel compression fittings. Gonna order some spare orings. Mine were 2.5mm cross...

TUXING 4500PSI PCP Air Compressor Review

Good to know. Maybe the oil was detonating around the check valve or something. I can't think of any other reason it would pit like that.

TUXING 4500PSI PCP Air Compressor Review

This looks like the goto thread for tuxing problems so... I ran into this a few days ago. 10 months old, I probably topped up 2 9L tanks worth per week. High pressure outlet check valve is pitted to death. Leaks into the crank case. Currently talking to someone at tuxing... tempted to call in...

CVlife scopes how good or bad are they??

I have a variety of them. A couple 5-25x50, another 40mm with less zoom, and a couple red dots on my airsoft stuff. I'm not sure they can be beaten for the price. I've had no problems aside from the illuminated reticles. Those are junk on all 3 scopes. Which is fine because I wouldn't use em...

Umarex Is Your Notos Upgraded or Out the Box?

I can't buy much of anything without modifying it. So yeah.... my notos has been modded... heavily. I picked it up for fun. Few to zero pests at home... a pleasant side effect of consistent insecticide apps. Could actually benefit from a few squirrels to eat up the acorns. Anyway, if the notos...

    Altaros Booster Project and Mods

I spoke too soon. Just now the compressor started sounding funny so I shut it off. HPA is making it into the crank case and out the breather. Gonna test out this 4 year warranty.
