Proud owner of my first air rifle versus my old BB guns. Got a Benjamin .177 Black lightning, cheaper version of the Vaporizer. I have a couple rifle scopes, but I have heard the recoil is different and they will not hold up. Is that an old wives tale? Thanks Chinook3

I needed something to even the odds with chipmunks. So a quick search of local stores in a small town turned up "Black Lightning". Very stiff pump even for a senior but doable. After running fifty shots through it the poi is beginning to stabilize. Seems like a decent rifle for the price. Seems...
