Haven't shot the altoros slugs yet. Shoot my big bores almost weekly though.

Does yours not have a circular plug like the pic?

If its like the other sam yangs, there is a hole in the shoulder pad covered by a plug and you have to use a long handled screw driver to tighten. It's been awhile since I've worked on any of my sam yang's, but I will verify tomorrow if someone doesn't chime in.

I'm certainly not in my arena of expertise, but I do have a gen 2 m-rod .25 that does absurdly well in the accuracy dept out to 50 or so (probably further, never really shoot it that far). Just have to feed it air and its favorite pellet. Cheap scope and all..

Certainly verify this, but most aea I've had experience with degass by loosing the guage slightly. Again, I would verify that before attempting.

Tried some NSA 125 gr in mine today. Not bad, my recluse is stock with a heavy trigger. I haven't shot it in over a year probably as well. I'm certain it can do better. Ill fling some of the griffins next. Shame i never got this one out to Will P. for a workout.

Brooksville area here. Plink in the yard with the kids mostly, but do hunt. Might start looking into some of the benchrest going on.

I haven't knocked the dust off of mine in some time, but if I recall, it really liked a griffin slug. Ill look through my notes and possibly drag it out this weekend.
