Two things. Best results are with wadcutters. Push the pellet in until it bottoms out. I put a tiny little bit of krytox grease under the belt and it works pretty well. Better than having oil leaking everywhere. I have only had a couple of jams before greasing and those were with round nose...

For everyone concerned about ingesting lead, don't eat chocolate, especially the dark varieties. Also may want to avoid protein powders and other supplements.

Were the plugs rated for the same pressures as the bottle? HPA fittings aren't usually found in general hardware stores. They are more of a specialty item.

The bb has a smaller point of contact and being steel, I can see it not needing high FPE as it won't deform. The pellet on the other hand, has more weight and to me, that should have been enough for it to get through. Or at least crack the second pane. Maybe because it spread out on the first...
