No I would say they are not any better, I have Hawke 2 piece mounts on HW77’s, TX200’s, RWS350, and RWS48. None of my scopes move. As long as the mount you are using has a screw for stopping it from sliding it will work just fine.

I have a 77 in .22. Mine likes H&N FFT 5.53 But it absolutely loves Norma 17.2’s I mean loves them. It does not like FX 16’s, CPH, Barracuda 18, Or any JSB middle weight.

I’m good with whatever anyone has been successful with. I’ve had decent results with H&N barracuda’s at around 35 ft lbs.
