Thanks for the insight on the differences between breathing air and regular compressed air. If I can get this for $500 I probably will, even though it is an 800 lb. monster.that includes a bottle rack for storage.

So in other words it's just overkill to use a 6000psi compressor to fill a 4500psi or less tank? Or is there a danger in doing so, if I failed to set the regulators properly? I have no idea what these usually go for, probably $10k new or something, but I found a used one I MIGHT be able to get...
