Then check the trigger screws. Something is off there and the sear is either not engaging (if you feel the spring when letting off the handle) or is stuck and is keeping the gun engaged (if there is no spring tension when you let go of the cocking handle).

Cocking a Crown is really smooth so there is little resistance to it. Did you hear a click when cocking it? If the gun was pre-owned I would check the trigger. Maybe someone messed with it. This should be a quick fix. If the gun is new then just send it to a shop.

Crown Continuum MK2 .22 and my Delta Wolf for me. They stack pellets on 50m. Most of the guns I own are accurate it just depends on which one suits me more and how much I suck that day. Those two just suit me best.
