Taipan Taipan Veteran 2 Tac Cocking issue

Nope, only filling to around 230-240 bar, but thanks for the tip Pfddi. I recieved the gun empty which I thought was odd. I've bought many PCPs over the last 20 years, never once did I get one empty, so I figured it had a slow leak. I think I read one of your posts where this had happened to...

    Taipan Taipan Veteran II Maintenance

Balistol works fantastic for protection. Just spray a little on a clean lint free cloth and wipe down the exterior and clean the barrel. Just do a visual inspection and make a judgement call. I think Taipan is just saying take care of your awesome new gun and it will take care of you.

Taipan Taipan Veteran 2 Tac Cocking issue

Such a timely post. I have a brand new Taipan Veteran 2 tactical 550mm, I had the same exact problem! 2 problems actually, but this one really bothered me. I did the exact thing you did (Archdesigner03) with adjusting the second stage tension as well as the engagement, didn't do squat, but it...

    Taipan Taipan Vet 2s - 700mm & 550mm Pellet and Slugs at 30 yards

Ranchibi and Pfddi, thanks so much for the responses. My initial thought was to get the tube version, but I think I might like the bottle version for the shot count and I would only plan to fill to 250. I fill my Airmaks Katran to 250 even tho it says 300. 80-90 shots is plenty and I plan on...

    Taipan Taipan Vet 2s - 700mm & 550mm Pellet and Slugs at 30 yards

Pfddi, if you dont mind me asking, what kind of shot count are you getting with the 550mm? I'm interested in buying one and wondering is it worth buying the tactical over the standard tube. I've got a Vet 1 .25 standard and looking for a Vet 2 .22. Thanks. BTW, i'm interested in the exact...

I agree. I don't have any on hand, but it was something that I'm considering ordering if I do another version. Thanks for the input.

I wrapped electrical tape around the barrel where it touches. Also, chromed leather would probably tarnish a little, I use veg tanned leather, I guess we'll see.

I'm a hobbyist knife maker so I also dabble with leather quite a bit. I do a lot of kydex sheaths as well.

Not really sure what is meant by the Tandy is strong in this one, but OK. I used veg tanned leather and used my Ikier laser engraver to cut out my design. That way I can make small changes in Lightburn and just push a button to cut out new designs. I did buy the snaps from Tandy if that's what...

So, this is what happens when you get bored...

Since I've got plenty of spare time on my hands, I decided that my Veteran needed a murse to hold the extra magazines. I had already bought the aluminum 2 piece bolt on set, but it didn't hold them very well, and I felt like the orings were getting damaged putting them in the holder - they...

GX CS2 tear down **pic heavy**

I'm just curious if you know about how many hours are on it? I've read where some users are disassembling their compressors about every 10 hours of use and relubing everything and inspecting the internals for wear. Sucks having a compressor down. I know that Target Forge sells some parts...
