I think 357 would be a little light for a moose. Also here in Idaho we have to use 45 or larger for elk and moose.

It’s finally time to get the moose! I have the next month blocked off for the hunt. The season lasts until November 23 but I hope it doesn’t take that long. I have the boat and camper setup and I will start hunting in the morning. Wish me luck!

Thanks. I used a mr hollowpoint 365 gr for the bear. Just got a mold for 500 gr that I am going to try out to see how they fly.

What size lead are you using?

I have been doing some scouting and talking to people about the area. Planning to hunt the rut starting the last week of September until I fill my tag. Saw this guy while we were running the river scouting.
