Having a HW30 and HW50 in .177[the HW50 acquired 1st], I'm finding the 30 filling a niche for my arthritic hands[surgery next month on my left]. The decreased cocking effort hurts less. Both are lasers with AA 7.33s but til my hands are better the 30 will be primarily used. FYI,I'm 71.

Had some H&N FTT 8.64s that shot well in my HW50. Did well here at 10 yards in my basement. Any flyers are on me.

HW30 arrived yesterday. Threw a Tasco airgun scope on it and it took about 10 shots to zero at 10 yards in my basement. Now my HW50 has a little brother.

I was on the fence about buying a HW30. Had a R7 a few years back that I sold in a moment of weakness. I then read your post,specifically the last sentence. A HW30 is on the way. My arthritic hands will appreciate it and I'll enjoy while I can.

Ordered a HW30. A few years ago I sold a R7 in a moment of weakness. Think I'll try peep sights on it.

Weird thing is my trigger had a hole for a grub screw but it wasn't threaded.I had a few smaller taps and threaded it in 4-40. Just the install of the grub screw helped immensely. I'm happy where it's at right now. Thanks for the pics,it simplified things.
