N/A No more interest in PCPs

I get it. Feel the same when I bought my RTI compact. It just works well for me. I still enjoy coming here to read about other rifles

Umarex New to pcp rifles how to shoot better

first thing is to clean the barrel (if you haven't already)that have shipping grime in them.. as others already mentioned try a good pellet. JSB 18gr Diablo is a very good pellet.

Other Regulators and higher PSI airguns

The way I see it regulators are nothing more than a wear item just like the motor oil in your vehicle. There's better stuff out there that last longer but eventually needs changed.(You get what you pay for) Even regulators built with quality materials will wear out. Regs have a very demanding...

Other Regulators and higher PSI airguns

I fill my regulated rifles to whatever it calls for.. if it's 300b I fill it to 300b. If I'm out target shooting or hunting it gets a full fill. Now when I'm done for the day that's a different story. I keep the pressure slightly over reg set point. As I do believe it isn't good on a reg...

    Gun flexability, or gun numbers...which?

I've collected a few over the years tuned at various settings and left there. Those rifles aren't as easily tuned as today's little magical wonders. For the last couple of years I've been only using 2. Both are RTI rifles. The prophet performance P1 in 22 set up shooting heavy pellets and it's...

    Ever find yourself going back..

One of my most favorite hunting/pesting rigs is my RTI P1 compact I have 3 barrels for it (177,22 and 25) I've pretty much have used this rifle for 2 years now. When I first received my rifle I had to shoot it so I mounted up an old Tasco 2.5-10x42 varmint scope on it. Looked goofy as the scope...

New Air Fan Cooled Carette Coming with Upgraded components and Design

I bought carette compressor from Joe sometime back.. talked to him on the phone all was good. After owning it a couple of years the high pressure side wasn't working any longer. I called Joe about getting parts. Long story short... Too bad so sad, sorry about your luck. I did manage to get parts...

    N/A Low powered guns

You know now that you got me thinking about it.. I started this hobby over 20 years ago, shooting springers. That's all I could afford and had to develop the skills to shoot it accurately. I used it for popping starlings to small game hunting. Then I moved to CO2 rifles. QB built by Tim...

    N/A Low powered guns

Depends on area...and the type of shooting I'm doing. On the farm popping starlings and it's a windy day...high power heavy ammo is used. Light wind medium power is gonna roll with me that day. Inside barn work or calm day low power it is. My three favorites are made by the same manufacturer so...

    JSB KnockOut mk1 10gr 177 wow

I haven't tried the varmint knocker. The jsb and zan slugs worked best for me also. Same findings with the NSA slugs. NSA was fine for target shooting but not so much pesting/hunting I won't use them.

    JSB KnockOut mk1 10gr 177 wow

Wow is right..177 slugs make a 177 a whole new animal. I've been using them for starling popping and boy those little slugs sure make a loud pop when they hit a starling. Rips right through them. Tiny entrance hole, the exit was quite a bit larger. Used them last years squirrel season also. Done...

    N/A Help picking a 177 rifle

Plenty of 22's out there that get 60+ on a fill.... If you prefer 22 then save your coin a bit longer and get a 22. Otherwise you won't be happy. Not beating up on the 177 ... I've been shooting a 177 (slugs) a lot here lately for pest control and hunting small game and love it. I am more of a...

Other alternative ways to achieve spin stabilization

You would need a rifled projectile... Like a rifled slug for a smooth bore shotgun.. some shot good some didn't. Accuracy Was subpar at best. But close enough to get the job done..There's a reason even shotguns stated using rifled barrels. Your kinda wanting to reinvent the wheel... Use a...

When do you start to get annoyed by a leak on your gun?

I get annoyed the second I notice it.. I must fix it ASAP!
