I have 3 761 xl’s. This one is new in the box. I also have 4 760‘s one is the original with with tootsie roll handle and round receiver top that will not except a scope mount. and wood stock. I need to get a picture of that one I’ll post later.

Morris, you can certainly restore the 760. The parts are readily available . The wood can be restored if you have some basic wood working knowledge. as a kid I rebuild mine at least 10 times… wore the gun out shooting it every day after school. I would send money in an envelope to fair port...

Kevin, I watched your progression on the stock for the beginning ... you did a great job!!!

And so it begins…. Hw85/R10 on top Hw30/R7 on the bottom… I hope I don’t make a mess of it!!! I Put a little maccari gunstock mud on the ends to see what it would kind of look like!!!

Here is a great video on what can be achieved with a tune job. There is a lot of time and effort that went into making this video. I watched it and although I think most of us understand the benefits of tuning your spring gun. It’s a great watch. enjoy…
